Hot deal of the day. My parents have one of these hoses they bought many years ago, it's held up sitting in the hot texas sun. It might get your hands black, and it weighs a lot compared to regular hoses, but they always stay flexible and don't deteriorate nearly as fast.

Craftsman 5/8" x 50' All-Rubber Garden Hose - $19.99

Wish I had some points to use... :(

Keep an eye out for the 6pc gearwrench flex sets on clearance. Got all this for less than $70 and only used $9 in points.

The 6pc sets tend to always be $30 or less. They're on the website (at least as of a couple days ago) at $27.99. The better deal was the 7 pc sets at $27.99-29.99 for the holidays but they're up to $63 now.

How much were the 6pc sets you got?

Go inspect the brittle plastic ramps in person (particularly if the newer FloTool design) before you get too excited about risking your life.

Yeah I've seen lots of Rhino ramp failure pics... I wouldn't trust them with my 3/4 ton truck...

Even with 6 ton jack stands I still feel better with a large block of wood as a backup for them, and I typically leave the jack in place too but with the pressure on the stands. If I'm going to get crushed then it's going to have to be a colossal multiple failure.

Can you see the pics I posted? The second pic of the yellow clearance tag has your answer. $10

Most of the failures you can tell are from when people don't drive up on them square (e.g. tire was sticking over the side edge) or when they go too far forward (again, tire sticks past the front and crushes that portion of the ramp). They weren't designed to hold weight beyond the edges, only weight in the middle. And then there are always a couple of people who can't figure out the weight ratings (they are rated per pair by GVW, not vehicle weight, which is a little misleading). Scroll through most of the pictures of failures on Amazon and you'll notice what I'm talking about. The one with the Tundra looks like they just drove too far forward on the ramps and basically drove off the ramps (cracking them at the same time). That front plastic lip that serves as a bumpstop isn't meant to be driven over, and will result in the ramps cracking. Lots of photos of cars with tires only half on the ramp too.

The material that comes with these ramps explicitly state both those points- the tire needs to be centered on the ramp (not hanging over) and to not drive up onto the bumpstop. Both will result in product failure. The literature also states that there needs to be a minimum of 1" on between the edge of the tire and the edge of the ramps. If your tires do not fit well like that, then these ramps are not appropriate for your application.

Ramps, just like jacks and jack stands, require the user to know what they are doing. Having used these for years, even on some pretty heavy vehicles, I'm sure most of the failures are user error.

Sorry for all the edits, but these ramps are also rated under the PALD standard, which is the most strict standard (currently) for vehicle lifting and support devices. Gaining that certification means they can support twice what their advertised capacity is, and that it has been independently verified. Also adds to why I believe most failures are user ones....Other alternative ramps that people say are better are not certified under this standard.

^ ^ ^ ^ Thanks Jason !!

Craftsman all rubber garden hose 5/8" x 50ft . . . . $19.99/each

I've always wanted to get couple of these awesome rubber garden hoses for $19.99 and never hit the go button in cart. Now I've got 2 to pickup that after SYW points only cost me $4 !! ;)

See, this is what I've tried to get at before and no one will respond or be honest. Just how old are your ramps? Are they Blitz or FloTool?

I picked up the workbench. Not expecting much but it'll fit nicely in the basement. They also had some keter shelves i grabbed. Coupons worked in store so I got another $5 off and some bonus points. I wasn't interested in the Ramps but I checked them out anyway. The ones in my store are made by Hopkins if that matters to anyone.

Almost 4.5 years. Believe they are flotool then (that was the new owner, right?). Either way, they are the same design as those you can currently purchase on Amazon.

I have a CM branded one, with a top shelf instead of a light. Worked out well within its limits. Drawer slides were junk, took off to put a rolling bench underneath. Decent construction, doesn't do too well with lateral stress.

Were those shelves marked as clearance in the store? I have trouble getting dollar-offer coupons to work on clearance merchandise.

They were. Everything I bought was marked clearance. They usually don't work for me either but this time they did.

Thanks. I guess they might be making some exceptions to the usual coupon rules to help sell off all this merchandise a lot faster.

Is there a light in the top or is that a shelf above the pegboard.
I been eyeballing these for a few weeks.

Heads up to anyone who is like me and Kmart won't ship/in store pickup for you.

HOMEDEPOT will price match. Got mine shipped for 45 bucks total.

LOL, sorry didn't realize you were a new member...

When someone grabs a killer deal, the ultimate compliment they can get is a "you ****" from other members. It's meant in good humor and probably a little jealousy.. :lol_hitti

Sorry, I'm in one of the 3 surrounding states and the only other possibility for me is in OKC. I have a brother in OKC that I've enlisted to help me grab good deals before.

Wish I could help but no dice this time. Maybe next time.

Sears has a price match if done within 30 days. I have purchased a 10" bandsaw, 10" drill press and a 16" scroll saw. They are now on sale a few dollars cheaper about 45 total but they are now giving 77 in rewards total on the 3 items.

So I do the online chat and they refund the difference and told me to contact sywr for the points to be added. So I did that and they tell me no and if I want the items I'd have to take them back and reorder. Free shipping on these items so I'd imagine that cost sears over 100'to ship back and have the new items shipped.

Had anyone else run into this? The sywr guy didn't appear to want to help out at all. Just makes no sense why they would want you to return and rebuy for the price differences and then pay shipping twice. They will spend more money than what they are going to give me back to do it this way. But, may be why they are in the financial shape they are in

Well, it WAS on my list of things to keep an eye on during the store liquidation.

I still can't believe so many power tools got bought up at the pathetic starting discount of 10% off.

The items were "Sold By: Sears"? Then it should be Sears customer service helping you with their policy.

Another option is to try filling out the form:
http://www.sears.com/en_us/customer-service/policies/price-protectionform.html

Price Protection Policy

Buy with confidence from Sears. If an item you have purchased from Sears goes on sale for a lower price within 30 days of your purchase, Sears will refund the difference. All Price Match rules and exclusions apply including no Price Protection adjustments between Thanksgiving Day and the Wednesday after Thanksgiving. Sears will not offer a price adjustment on items that include individual Shop Your Way bonus or extra point offers.
To claim a Price Protection Policy adjustment, go to your original Sears store where the purchase was made with your receipt. If your purchase was made on Sears.com, please fill out a Price Protection form. You will be given a refund for the difference of the original selling price and the current advertised/reduced price. Apparel clearance merchandise and conditional Online Only Special Offers do not qualify for Price Protection Policy adjustments.

^This. My local store is liquidating and at one week at 10% off MSRP, the tool department is over half gone. People are buying this stuff like it is 90% off. Almost everyone in the store is carrying an armload of stuff to the registers lol.
