All the tools Harry sold are all marked made in USA...

Except these same Husky micro screwdrivers. They are marked Made in Taiwan. That is why they are going back...

I ordered MADE IN USA marked Craftsman micro screw drivers.

They did contact me this morning and say they were going to take care of it and send me made in USA Craftsman mircro screwdrivers, as well as some of the slightly damaged tools I received.

Harry did send some other good stuff. The $6 scratch awl is shorter than the one that comes in the 4-piece Professional pick set.

The pieces in the hook & pick set have never been available individually, and I don't believe the handles of that set are a direct match to the screwdriver handles (like the handle on your scratch awl pictured).

Haven't seen this posted anywhere yet, so here it goes....

Local sears had a pair of drill doctors in the clearance section marked down almost $100. They were most definitely brand new and never removed from the original packaging. I took home one of them.

I looked at that at my local sears, but it wasn't marked down. Good score.

Just picked up the 3 piece set of Craftsman (Wilde) Pry bars. They were on sale for $19.99. Wife had $7 of points she let me use. Total came out to $14.22. Not bad for less than $5 a piece.

Tons of stuff on sale and clearance. Pretty much all the Chinese end wrenches are on clearance, all. The Taiwan low profile rats are on sale for 50 for the three piece set. They are awesome rats and that is a great price.

$5 Craftsman 14" Plastic Tool Box with Removable Tray

They're small and REALLY cheaply built, but should suffice for a quick toss box.

Those are as solid as they come considering they are plastic.

I have one full of pens and pencils/art supplies and the other box I keep at the office as an office tool box (box cutter, small hammer, pliers, tape measure, etc.) They are great because they are pretty light.

Yup, positive. I've had it for 6-7 years. I just bought the Milwaukee high torque impact to replace it and wish I would have done it much sooner.

Yours must have been broke. I have one and love it. My buddies IR TiMAX is a little better, but you'll pay several times more for it.

Mine has the full polish, thin profile, 6 point pass through socket set for 13 bucks. Handy to have when you need it.

Ratchet included or just the sockets? I almost gave in for the Kobalt max access stuff on clearance at Lowes, but I don't like the fact that they are spline sockets. 6 point or bust for me

it was when I got it 6 months ago for the same price off the local ad here. The 5pc set was pretty cheap on the sears main site too

Sears Craftsman still has far more US made content than any other big box retailer.

I didn't get this email either and I am a gold memeber

I'm not even silver. it was buried in a spam e-mail for the $25 linked credit card promotion/ refer a friend promotion .

you had to activate it and add it to your account, it was all the way out the bottom of the e-mail, so Some people may have missed it. I'm just a trial max member

couldn't get it to work on anything online so I went to the store at lunch and used it buying the Dewalt metric ratcheting wrench set, got the last one on the shelf, so pretty much got it for $13 after tax with the points back deal.

rednotch, thank you for the heads up. Went back and looked at the message as I had deleted it when it came through. Because it was so long, GMail clipped it. I had to press a button to see the rest of the message. Mine wasn't as good as yours. I had a $25 back in points when you spent $100.

China, but the rat looks identical to the Taiwan low profiles and the chrome is awesome. At 14 bucks how can you go wrong. I have the spline drive set and it has served me quite well for the limited times I have needed it. Sometimes there is absolutely no substitute for a set of pass throughs with an extension.

They did have air swivel connectors at $6.24 at my local Sears, tho. I figure they would be ok on my air drill and 3/8" drive stuff. Too restrictive for my Nitrocat 1/2" tho.
