Every one of these shows out of stock at my local Sears and when I try to change locations to look at other stores the site just dies...

There is no such thing as a deal at Sears, to many absolute incompetent idiots working there from the IT Dept down to the Tool Dept. I honestly don't think its worth the effort...

Swing by your local store to see if any of those are in stock. They all show out of stock online for me also.

Just like the Japanese ball screwdrivers not too long ago, showed out of stock here but my store had plenty of them. Don't trust the online inventory. I still have to check again for that grease gun, I know it was there last time I went to the store.
Did you check out the date on the newest customer review for some of those items? I'm sure these dead items are part of the same website error.

In case you missed my post about some of the brands:

This weekend I noticed at Sears the Made in USA Craftsman 2 pc. Qtr-Turn® Convertible Retaining Ring Pliers Set that has been on sale for $11 now has a evil twin next to them on the rack. The difference is sale price is $21, regular price is $25, it had black handles and it's made in Taiwan. It looks like these are soon to go the way of the dodo, so buy them now before they're gone.

The new ones are Gearwrench and arguably better than the old.

I was browsing sears outlet and noticed they had an 8ft red workbench on closeout for $43.93 (originally 219.99) in Lakeland fl. Then I found an 8ft stainless top in Altamonte springs fl for $49.93 (originally 249.99). Total out the door after fatwallet cashback is $98.92. I put my crappy little harbor freight wood bench that I bought new for 130 on CL for $100 firm and it sold immediately. The top was all jacked up from working on automotive things too. So for an even swap, aside from some driving, I got this workbench which is 1000x nicer than the POS I just sold an hour ago. I am super stoked about this deal.

Good deal! I've seen a lot of workbench parts on clearance locally, and if you wait until they get down to 60-80% off, there are deals to be had. A year or so ago I picked up a 6' bench with the basic laminate top, along with a 5-drawer add on, all for less than $100. The drawer unit is flimsy and the top isn't the greatest, but I have it set up in my basement and could care less.

Sorry if this is a duplicate. I was at my local sears today and saw the ball grip screwdrivers on clearance. $9.99 marked down to $4.97 marked down to $2.47. They had about 20 total.

These rang up as no price locally so they charged a dollar for them. Still a good buy at 2.47

Probably the same thing that happens in my store. The stock on larger items is stuffed in a back corner of the warehouse portion of the store, fixtures are shoved all over the front of them (and they get lost), and new tool associates get hired and don't even know we stock them.

Look around in summer time for the sidewalk sales for cheap deals on larger items (mainly through the 991 booklet they'll lay out).

Sometimes they'll be canceled orders (some guys order an entire garage and their 860Sq. ft shed and let them sit for months... and the managers don't cancel them because it's a larger sale:willy_nil). Luckily this shed wasn't and was only around a month in our warehouse.
(The shed if you want to drool over it. Half the time they show up in a regular pickup and wonder why we sigh:sad:.)

Finally checked out the shopyourway website and received $20 off $50 spent. Very nice.

Thinking of picking up the GearWrench 20PC Combination Ratcheting Wrench Set and a few 1/4" drive pieces for around $40 total. Not a bad deal.

Just got the two piece gearwrench roto ratchets for points only, Local ad listing them at 33.94 vs 49.10 and hot buy on the main site. Only used up $23.94 in points and 10 off 30 surprise points.

Also Not sure if you guys know about the doorbuster sweeps deal they have on the shopyopyouway site. Search slickdeals doorbusters on google if you don't know about them too see what its about.. They give you $1-7 or decent coupons just for entering them if you can catch them while they are active. Pretty much free "surprise points" with no limit to try and get you to spend more money. I've been using them to pick up stuff of the local ad's for free. Got a bunch of line chalk refills, some dewalt gloves, bit sockets, those ball drivers and replacement cobalt drill bits for free doing that.

My online local sale price for those ratchets is HIGHER than the regular website price. :headshake

Also, it's hard to keep up with the sweeps to catch those free Doorbuster surprise points. They stopped with the $4-$7 Doorbuster sweeps a while back, so I don't think it's worth checking so much for the $1 and $2 ones they give out mostly now.

Here's a $2 one, if it's showing the pink Doorbuster flag for you:
http://www.shopyourway.com/app/2/l/sweepstakes/high-score/40654

You should see "Awarded as Sweeps Doorbuster." if you entered correctly:

I got the 10 off 30 from surprise points off one of the $1 dollar one's. Slickdeals killed the higher dollar amount doorbusters but you never know. Yesterday they had one for $3

With the local site double check, sometimes they will show full price if you search it but if you find it under the deals section it will be cheaper. I've had to add the item to the cart to see the real price. The sites have been real screwy lately. I have a lot of local area stores so I check them all, only two had it for that price, the rest where as you said Higher then the main site.

Confirmed in the cart, and it's still showing the $52.76 price from my local ad (vs $49.10 for regular website).

Even more weird, the regular price listed in the local ad section is $59.99, versus $69.99 for the regular website. Same item and model numbers.

Here are the exact same ratchets for $26 with a Crescent name on the handle instead of Gearwrench. Both are owned by Apex: http://www.cripedistributing.com/crescent-crw17-2-pc-1-4-3-8-roto-ratchet-set.html

Even better! I held one in my hand and just couldn't think of any task I would need it for. Considering the drawer of screwdrivers I already have, it seemed like a waste of $5 so I didn't buy them.

These flare nut crowfoots are on sale again 50% off 79.99 down to 39.99
Use this coupon code 9700056164739436 for 10.00 off 75.00 order and they are 34.99 free shipping or store pick up.

I tried using Sunex and Harbor Freight ones but they don't have the indents to hold the socket extension and they fall off too easy. Yes they are COO China.

Fricken frack spoke too soon.

Just placed my order on Shopyourway.com. Chose free shipping, as soon as it was processing my order, boom, tagged with $9.50 in shipping charges. Not toooooo happy to say the least.

Good luck to those who use the shop your way website

I guess the grease gun I've been seeing is different from the one I posted a few days ago. Haven't found any of that clearance stuff.

This is Sears "regular" sale price. Still a decent deal though.
Good to know... do they ever go lower than this?

After seeing this guy, I see they have a 32pc set with the stubbies for $79. I have $20 in surprise points, just not sure if I should pull now or wait for a drop.

home depot now has reversing stubbies for 29.99. same price basically, but gets you an offset wrench as well if you need them.

They sent me $10 off $20 surprise points today. I love those surprises! They also sent me $30 off $50 automotive, just haven't figured out where to go there yet.

Over the past few weeks I've gotten 2 - $30 off $30 and one $20 off $25. I'm not sure how they're making any money at this point!

Get a different wrench. You don't want a craftsman.

I have the Craftsman heavy duty C3 impact with the xcp battery and love it. Of course it wasn't cheap and I bought it mainly due to it coming with the large xcl battery which I use with my other C3 stuff. I would definitely stay away from their other impact wrenches as you can get better quality for the same $ elsewhere.

If you're thinking about a Craftsman air impact wrench, don't. They all ****. I've had a cheap 1/2" drive impact and a more expensive one rated for 500 ft-lbs. neither one could remove lug nuts torqued to 89 ft-lbs.

I don't have any experience with their cordless impacts.

I got a $20 off $20 a few weeks ago. They even sent something in the mail to tell be about it. Otherwise the best I've gotten in the last year is $10 off $50, maybe $10 off $40.

Anyone else have trouble getting K-mart surprise points to work,I find that it is very hard to find anything that the points will work on while the Sears points always work.

I don't remember seeing any DeWalt air tools on Sears.com, but at the store I saw a bunch marked 50% off with the pink clearance stickers.
