Saw these brake line tubing cutters at Sears Town Center Mall Kennesaw GA a couple of hours ago. The tubing cutter is marked down....aprroximately 83%.

The tubing bender wasn't that great a deal but both work on a variety of small diameter soft copper and steel tuning so I picked up the pair.

Two months back when local Sears was clearing out the USA CM mechanics "specialty" tools for imported ones: hose clamps/snap ring pliers/pullers they had the same off brand tubing bender for $24.97 so the price didn't drop anymore since then but thanks for posting.

Are the 3 piece pry bars still a good one to have? I see they are 19.99. Almost got them at ace earlier for 41.99

Wow! Super price that includes the 19.2V battery with the same torque as the Milwaukee ratchets. Cheap enough to weld in the socket adapter to fix an annoying complaint with the tool. Downside for non C3 owners is its another battery system.

Thanks. Just got one when it was $60. Called CS, and they won't do a price adjustment, since it's been over 7 days. Hasn't been over 30 though, so the $60 receipt gets returned when I pick up the new $40 order. Seems like a price adjustment would be easier for everybody, but what do I know? :dunno:

The stores that carry Posi-Lock pullers appear to be clearing them out. I picked one up last month for ~$40 and just ordered another for ~$20.

Posi-Lock 4-in. 3-Jaw 5 Ton Gear and Bearing Puller

The easiest way to find one is to use the above page to determine if any local stores have them in stock, then search for "Posi Lock" on that store's LocalAd page. Your mileage may vary.

i think this has been discussed before but i am new to the site and can't find it (and figure out how to find) in the search function so i am posting here. Anyway, i always get good info and deals from garage journal so here is my small contribution.

Craftsman Professional Use 3/8 in. Drive Full Polish Fine Tooth Roundhead Ratchet. $9.96 USA Made. On sears.com

Not a hot deal but one of the last USA made ratchets for under $10. The ratchet is solid feeling, has a nice finish, and is USA made. I think it is a good deal for $10

This is . . . . Craftsman Club . . . pricing so login first to Craftsman.com
and you'll get another $5 off of $42.99 price (thus $37.99) for

Craftsman 2 speed electric blower/vacuum
Item: 07130376000 Model: 30376

Your Sears ShopYourWay points will come across to Craftsman Club, so your ultimate net cost will be lower . . . . mine was $26 !! ;)

Local ad deal so YMMV, seems all my local stores that have the old 3pc plastic hose/line clamp set in stock list it for $6.47 plus an extra 10% off automotive tools when you buy them online. Got a set for $5.** something in points.

Item# 00942454000P Model# 42454

Dang that's a deal... I can't find that model (only the new Taiwan version) locally for $15+. If there are additional sets locally, I would be willing to order them for store pickup and pay someone to ship them to me!

Amazon has a similar set (it not exact) for $10.30 with Prime shipping. Given the cost of purchase and shipping of the Craftsman set, you may be able to get close to and/or meet the price for the sears set by buying the set carried by Amazon. I am considering same as I would also like to have a set of these clamps.

I've got SYWR points that would cover the cost of the item, I'd just be paying shipping. If I can't find one, I'll go ahead and probably buy the one you linked, thanks!

I'll check my other local stores. The one I got it from is now out of stock and its back to full price on the local ad.

Not a deal but does anyone know the item number for the new craftsman 3pc trim tools that replaced the lisle ones they used to sell. I can't find it one their website anywhere and that store didn't have it on the shelves.

I picked up some good deals at the Salem, NH store today. Some have been mentioned here previously, but I will repeat them regardless.

Craftsman Heavy Duty Disc Pad Spreader for Single and Dual Piston Brakes - $5.47
Craftsman Harmonic Balancer Puller - $6.47
Lisle 3 pc. Body Trim Tool Set - $7.47
Craftsman Professional 4 pc. Hook and Pick Set - $8.47
Craftsman Cable-operated Hose Clamp Pliers - $10.97
Craftsman Strut Spring Compressor Tool with Built-In Safety Pins - $14.97
Posi-Lock 4-in. 3-Jaw 5 Ton Gear and Bearing Puller - $19.97

From what I have gathered, if your store has any of these in stock, there is a good chance that they will ring up at the above prices. Check your LocalAds.

Will the Craftsman Strut Spring Compressor Tool with Built-In Safety Pins work with European Cars?

It's a generic design. It should work with most cars regardless of country of origin.

I've used a similar set on American and German FWD and RWD struts with success.

Thanks, that's rest assuring. Hopefully, I can work on replacing struts myself.
