One thing I noticed, Craftsman 3 piece hose clamp pliers set is STILL made in USA, or the set I got recently with a bunch of points was. Thats a good set to get if you have points. Also, I needed some Torx T-Handles and ran across Bondhus made in USA set on the Sears site. A good deal on those. Check it out if you needed any. Much better than the made in China Craftsmans for less. - Paul

Which 3 piece hose clamps? Isn't there a couple different Craftsman sets they sell?

Item # 00947218000P Model # 74Z706 3 piece craftsman hose clamp set. They are on sale a little now at $45. But if you price US made clamps individually, you'll get more than $45 for them most anyplace, so it isn't a bad deal as it is if you have points to burn. It is hard to find still US made stuff at Sears, so I mention it here to get them while you can. - Paul

no they dont match kmart or searsoutlet. mine doesnt. i thought sears is replacing the 12 pc set with 14 pc set but my store just got some imported 12 pc sets. are the usa sets better, other than the mental feel good part? I mean, has someone put them side by side or used them long enough to know?

The only difference I noticed was was the clear handles on the China ones were "cloudy " and the paint is not good on the colors. The chrome on the shanks don't look as good. All cosmetic. I don't have any experience with function of the China ones. I will say I have had my USA made sets since 1996 and they still look and perform great

I'll probably pick up the two smaller drivers separately just so I can have a complete set. Not sure if the USA is any better, but the feel good part is worth it.

Didn't know if you guys knew or not but Sears outlet has several C3 19.2V tools on clearance. And they will ship, which I thought was unusual.

http://www.searsoutlet.com/d/products.jsp?md=srh_md&stxt=c3+saw&fromUrl=search

They have the old dual laser 7 1\4" circular saw model 11585 which I have not seen in stores for over a year or longer. If you go to a regular Sears today you see a trim saw with a smaller blade and no laser.

They also have the right angle drill and the hammer drill heavily discounted.

Since when do they ship? Must be new. I'd love to get the circular saw. I've spent so much on other tools, the bank account is a little thin. Those are some really good prices, though. Hmm.....

Glad to know too you have used these a while and recommend them. They look good quality to me. Know who makes these? Wilde? Western Forge? Mayhew? - Paul
I'm not sure, but if I had to guess I would put my money on Western Forge. I say this because SK offers the same model with green handles.

Nice deal.. I need to get some points.. I only have 72 points plus $8 surprise points for kids clothing lol

Ya it was basically buy one get one. I had the $20 from a deal the other day (wife bought baby clothes for a friend...) and then had $10 in surprise points as well.

Is it the 16pc set for $22.99? That's the price online, didn't know if store may be cheaper.

Anyone still finding the pro screwdrivers for $2.49? Just went to my local Hometown and they are $4.99

a few have reported the outlets are still 2.49 But mine is cleaned out. Hometown and hardware stores raised it to 4.99

Meh. Went back to Kmart and got that 12pc USA nut driver set for $15 minus a few points. Why? I don't know. It would be a lot better if it went up to 12mm instead of stopping at 11mm, and 9/16 instead of stopping at 1/2. A lot of useless sizes. I can't see where I would ever need any nut drivers other than the following: 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm

Hah, I stopped by there today looking for that set. Although it wouldn't have really mattered as my surprise points were only good at Sears.

Lol. I had it in my cart last week and was walking around the store. Ended up throwing it on the shoe shelf on the other side of the store, not hidden or anything. It was still there when I went in today lol

My store has these USA made wrench socket things on sale for about $10.00, but I wonder how much I would actually use them. Are they very useful?

Somehow I got $10 in bonus points after buying that nut driver set. Just used it and $1.24 PayPal funds for a 4" craftsman pro black oxide adjustable wrench. Pic shows USA so who knows. I need some decent adjustable wrenches, all of mine are cheap Chinese ****
