Somehow I got $10 in bonus points after buying that nut driver set. Just used it and $1.24 PayPal funds for a 4" craftsman pro black oxide adjustable wrench. Pic shows USA so who knows. I need some decent adjustable wrenches, all of mine are cheap Chinese ****
Unfortunately, I think you will be disappointed with that wrench. The head is oversized on it. It's basically a cut down 6".

Would anyone want to go to their sears and snag me some craftsman pro screwdrivers? I'll reimburse gas.

Next time they give you a good amount of surprise points, get the standard Craftsman adjustable set (6"/8"/10"). You can't go wrong with those. But if you want a good 4", get a Proto or scope out yard sales for some oldies.

I should have ordered the Wilde I posted on the Amazon thread 2 weeks ago for like $8

I'm only seeing $3.53 back. I wonder if you have that bonus $20 others have mentioned.

Well, I didn't have it on the Gearwrench pliers, until today and they were out. It wasn't on other stuff, but it was on the cable shears. I didn't have those yet, but, I will now. Lol. Sears is so damn confusing on how they give rewards.

Definately not the best, but for $15, I figured I'd give it a shot.

True. Just use it for light loads. I'd say the wheels can take about 200lbs without locking down bad (we've had to store-use a few in the past... never again).

Forgot. The frames were flexing quite a bit and we finally tossed that one when the lip bent out. Still have our old junker hand trucks from the 70's. Need new welds, but they work well enough.

My outlet has zero craftsman branded tools minus some 1/2 drive shallow chrome sets in cardboard boxes. Their were 2 of the 1/4 Dr impact sets left. They have dollar store tools at my outlet. Even when they do have big sets.....I can go to the sears store and save more money than at the outlet :(

After SYWR points/code these hand trucks can't be beat for the money for home use / non-pro shop. Use the Milwaukee hand trucks for light-medium duty and they're fine, better than pulling your back.

I think it was back around Father's Days when a few people reported getting a coupon for a free Craftsman 10-in-1 mini multi-tool.

Well, I got selected this time around for the email:

A FREE GIFT for YOU, just because you're appreciated

It's one of those coupon codes with 16 numbers, so it's probably for one-use.

I got this email also. And, I got the points off those LED flashlights I bought on black friday. $17 in points and a free multi tool, pretty good day so far.

Even if Sears has glitchy websites, aging stores, offers with errors, and crappy customer service, I'm REALLY going to miss them if they fold. :(

How are you guys getting so many SYW points back with your purchases? Every item I've added to my cart is showing a tiny amounts of SYW points back. If I add a $20 item it shows that it qualifies for $0.20 in SYW points back.

It's 1% back for all purchases, or 2% if you are a MAX member.

The bonus rewards are special offers. Sometimes the offer will be for the whole website or a certain department, and other offers will be for specific products.

Lately, they also seem to be loading a $20 back rewards to random accounts, and you'll see it in your cart when you add an item that is priced $20 or more.

Try this Craftsman impact bit set which has $5 back, but you might need Craftsman Club membership to see the points:

Interesting! Thanks. I do in fact see the $5 cash back, but it doesn't show correctly until the very last screen. Is there a way to see what items qualify for extra cash back without going all the way to the checkout screen?

Got my points for the pocket led lights. They expire Dec 2016 Yippy

I thought it said they expire in a month or two. If I had know this I would have bought more, wasn't sure I would spend 100.00 at Sears in a month. Glad I got what I got though.

Got my points for the LED lights. Fantastic! I thought that they were supposed to expire in about a week, but I don't see any upcoming expirations. Woo Hoo!

I too will be sad when Sears finally goes under. I am carrying $147 in points right now, waiting for a sale on the top cabinet that I need. I really hope they don't go belly up right after Christmas. I think that these points would be worthless instantly.

Between the lights and that sweet deal on the Bluetooth speaker, I'm sitting on $100 in points myself, even after ordering the gearwrench pliers

Now just to figure out what i "need" for $100.

The site is beyond screwed up for me since this weekend. Can't seem to get surprise points to work on anything any more.

Rednotch,

Check to see if you have attempted to use any coupons/promo codes in addition to the surprise points. I tried to use $12 in surprise points (unfortunately for clothing not tools) the other day and I could not get them to work. Contacted Shopyourway and they offered to move the 12,000 points to my regular points - and I didn't argue. Later that evening I went back and found a couple of coupons that I had tried to use with the surprise points and removed them and I was able to complete the transaction with no further problem (the nice lady at SYW left the surprise points behind as they were schedule to expire at midnight). Watch for the small print advising that coupons/promo codes can not be used in conjunction with the surprise points - seems to be something new that Sears is doing to stop us from further enriching the deals.......Hope this helps.....

Had the same thing happen to me using the promo code from the website's main page. Though the fine print only says you can't use coupons, apparently promo codes are considered the same thing.

It usually shows the extra rewards when you click on Eligible for Shop Your Way Points, but these Craftsman Club deals are not appearing until you add an item to your cart. Maybe it checks for your Club membership when you add the item to your cart. :headscrat

I found a list of more offers on slickdeals:

^ ^ ^ The 3/4" breakover bar (18" long) is pretty good deal for $24.99 less the points back later. Net would be just over $20 for me.

So those hose pinch pliers were in my cart and now sold out. That was a great deal and I need a pair of those.

Also the GearWrench flex head ratchet wrenches are made in China, not USA as previously stated. I am returning them. I only bit on them because of that. I didn't really need them.
