Don't buy any Craftsman flex ratchet on sale unless you can find old USA stock. They are now made in China and are complete utter garbage.

I made an online purchase and it said I'd earn $25 in points. Checked out and only got $2 in points.

Any way to get those points?

I know you wait until it ships to get and use the new points.

My problem is instead of "You have earned $25 in points" after I checked out it said "You have earned $2 in points". I'm guessing that I won't be getting $25 in points after it ships.

Did you use points to pay for the order? Some promotions require paying with your own money. I don't know what promos you had, so I can't say for sure.

Right before placing any order, clicking on "Review Order" will factor in your payment methods and reveal the true amount of points you will earn.

I used both points & money, but mostly points.
That probably killed some of your promos. Like there is this site promo:

"SYW Members! Get $10 back in points when you spend $50 or more! Items sold by Sears.

This one requires paying at least $50 of your own money, not points.

This doesn't include hot buys, sales, or pretty much anything but full price. The coupon is essentially useless.

Ok,no, I passed on it.
Furthermore, I didn't like the looks of the trigger, and power adjustment combo.
Like I said, I don't have much money this time, but got the 100 PC. drill and driver set, the 4 piece spark plug sockets, and the de Walt safety glasses, for $11.20, had $10.00 surprise points.
That what I got confused on too. The points back within 24 hrs is based off your cash paying subtotal after coupons and points have been applied.

Sears has lots of Reese drop mounts and balls for towing on clearance, 75% off. Pickup at Sears Auto.

Sears is being awful with the balls. I've placed three separate orders for them and they've canceled each one for false reasons. Good luck.

I was two for two, but that is why I mentioned pickup at Sears Auto, they are no where near as good as regular Sears.

I did the same. Ship to store and all orders were canceled for "your order did not properly process". Sears support is horrendous will not help and is giving me the run around.

Router arrived. Shipped in retail box with no padding around it. Box beat to **** with a chunk of metal sticking out the side. Can hear a bunch of loose bits when you shake it. No idea if any parts fell out.

That's the "electronic" router? I would exchange it.. Check if your local stores carry it.

I bought the aluminum router table and had it shipped. It arrived yesterday. Just in the box with a label on it. No additional padding. They didn't even bother to tape the box.

The top is raked with a big dent in it. Ugh.... now I have to try to exchange it. Doing that is going to be like trying to split the atom with their 70s cash registers.

Tell me about it. During the sale, I purchased a kit full price that showed the tools I needed. I only received part of what I was supposed to get. After a phone call and being passed around twice, about the missing item it turns out that they don't include what's in the picture (go figure).

To make this right, I asked them if they could sell me the larger kit that has text which lists the parts I need but at the July 25th price ($100 cheaper than current). After being passed around another 3 times, they tell me they won't and that I can ONLY return my item to a Sears store for a refund (a round trip of 5 hours away).

After now being passed around 5 times and wasting an hour, and wishing that I had received the correct tools so I could be working on my Jeep instead, because the next person they're sending me to can take care of me they ended the call by telling me not to call back. So I called my credit card company who is happily taking care of the issue for me.

And then I promptly ordered the same tools from Snap-On for cheaper. Saved $10.

TL;DR: Got wrong item, Sears refuses to make right, credit card company tells me they'll take care of the issue for me. Buy Snap-on for cheaper.

Refused to have them ship another router, knowing that it would be shipped the same way (no padding or even additional box, seams not taped up). Next one they could have shipped to the only store they have left in Nashville would arrive in SEPTEMBER.

Had a bunch of small stuff I'd ordered on Sunday available for pickup at store. So returned router and picked up small stuff at same time.

They'd actually sent me en email telling me almost everything I ordered was OOS and I could drive an hour to another store to get it. Despite that email, most of the stuff I ordered was waiting for me.

It's a wonder that such a well run and organized company is having trouble in today's marketplace...

Just curious, what was the return address on the labels?

I've had the same issues... worse packing than Amazon. Stuff just thrown in a box with some air packets. Granted, nothing damaged yet. The boxes look beat to hell.

I guess they figure their just tools... and C/S was useless.

You should see Google express packaging lol zero fucks given. They just trow it in plastic bag. Slap a label and off it goes. My stuff has arrived with plastic bag almost half way open

3/4" breaker bar - ordered with a $10 off $25 surprise points. Added a socket set to make the $25 minimum. Order accepted, then an email arrived saying the socket set was out of stock, so they refunded the charge for it, and apparently prorated the points between the two items. Any way, it arrived today, and I compared it to my 40+ year old Craftsman 1/2". Same overall design, but COO is obviously China. Looks wise fit and finish looks as good as the 1/2", time will tell on durability. Oh yeah, it was $19 and change delivered.

Saw this on Kmart.com:

http://www.kmart.com/craftsman-12.0-volt-lithium-ion-drill-and-impact/p-010W003281726001P

Craftsman Nextec Drill and Impact Driver for $59.99. One battery included. It's a hot buy, so not sure about coupons, but it looks like KMart is giving $10 back in points on purchases over $50 right now.

For a net cost of $50, these really are great. Would be a great housewarming gift for a new homeowner. I have both of these and the impact is great for what I do. You can drive Spax screws into 2x4s all day long with this thing.

Are those Craftsman "Cobra" pliers still made by Knipex in Germany? Seems like a nice price.
