Same thing happened to my gladiator cabinets. Got an email saying my order was cancelled with no sort of explanation.

Probably cause I got them I wiped them out of the 28 inch black ones they had for like $80. That was a great price and they weren't the crappy faux diamond plate. God I hate diamond plate.

Everest white for me. Can't stand the diamond plate either, looks like plastic.

Got a link handy for the black 30" cabinets? I didn't think Gladiator made a 30" in black. All of the black ones i've seen have been RTA, in the 28" variety.

I would have preferred the Everest white too, but those haven't gone on sale since they came out. Didn't want to wait and miss out all together.

And yes, sorry they were the 28"ers.

Almost bought the everest white 30" ones earlier this week. They were $175, and Sears had (mistakenly) applied the 50% back in points promotion to them. The only thing was that I really didn't need all of those points. Plus, my wife might kill me if more Gladiator cabinets showed up!

They look so much better than the standard diamond plate ones. If they ever come down close to $100/each, I'll likely buy enough to replace all of my diamond plate cabinets.

Just played around with the $30 back in points on $50 deal. It's only good for 1 per member, but I have a couple of accounts and some coupons and surprise points stack. Ended up buying 2 each of the Craftsman bar clamps shipped to my door. Figure I paid about 34% of retail once I get the points back. I'll have to find something to spend them on, but that's not too difficult.

Note that $10 of the points expire in 7 days. The rest look like they are good for 90 days.

Which style of clamp are y'all buying? The one hand style clamp in my first link, or the traditional bar clamp in my second link? I've always used the traditional bar clamp, but someone later mentioned that the Wolfcraft clamps are the one hand style.

I bought the one hand style. I do own several of the traditional style from Craftsman, but I think there are better options available for that style. For the one-handed ones, the Wolfcraft design is probably the best on the market (at least in an affordable price range), and they're made in Slovakia rather than China.

I'm stocking up on the one hand style. I am sure that the Bessey's are better, but these are probably a quarter of the cost.... possibly less if you are getting good deals. For what I do, these are great. Lots of clamping pressure.

I have both types of clamps, the bar type and the one handed. I actually like the bar type better, they seem stronger/more heavy duty. But the one handed are easier to use.

I got a bunch of the Craftsman clamps on sale at Sears. I think I paid like $6-8 each, even for the long ones like 18", 24" and 36". I basically cleared the display at that price, which was late last year. I didn't get any of the 12" or smaller, because I already had a ton of Jorgensen bar clamps in 6", 8", and 12" that I stockpiled while they were unloading the Made in the USA Jorgensen before they went to China.

The Craftsman are full retail right now. I'd wait until they go on sale before you buy them.

For anyone interested in Gladiator storage, the 48" Gearwall Panels (2 pack) are $54.99 with $36 in points back.

And if you're as lucky as I am, your store will give you the 8' panel 2 pack instead at pickup! I ordered a second with the points earned from the first order and they gave me another 8' 2 pack. :)

I see $54.99 price and earning $57.49 in points

coupon or something? I see $36 points

I didn't add any coupons, just came up that way:

Congrats! You earned $57.50 in points* today
Thanks for being a valued Shop Your Way member! You can redeem the $57.50 (57,495) in points you earned today to save on your next order view points details

We'll see if I actually get them, but I couldn't resist placing the order.

Nice! I had no problem with the first order I placed, points showed up the next day after pickup. My second order was paid for entirely in points.

How do the cman bar style compare to the Jorgensens? I've got quite a few 6" & 12" bar clamps from Jorgensen, Bessey, and HF (they aren't that bad and pretty cheap/disposable), but could definitely use some larger ones.

Anyone own the Craftsman hand riveter w/swivel head?

http://www.sears.com/craftsman-riveter/p-00974749000P

It's $19.98, and Craftsman Club members get $5 back in points.
(make sure to pay at least one penny with something other than points)

I think Marson might be the OEM:

The Craftsman bar clamps are very similar to Jorgensen. If I had my choice, I'd want made in the USA Jorgensen. But Jorgensen are now made in China and the long ones are expensive. So the Craftsman on sale, with shop your way points, seems to be a much better value, especially in the large sizes.

EDIT: Just learned that Jorgensen (Pony) ceased operations in May of this year. Sad, another American tool company that was in business for over 100 years, outsources to China in 2012, and now closes its doors for good.

I might go dig around in a few of the local ACE hardware stores to buy a few leftover USA clamps.

Sears is running a 30% back in points deal on select purchases when you use your Sears credit card, today 8/8 only. I just picked up some of the white Gladiator 30" wall cabinets to replace my diamond plate ones. They came out to about $100/each with the points back. Deal says up to $100 back, but it said I will be getting more than that. We'll see if they actually show up tomorrow.

Edit: they canceled my order on the Gladiator cabinets. Not sure why as they still show available. I did order tires on an additional order, and my points are showing up a little odd on that one. Looks like I'll have to call them.

I think the max is $100 per order, but you can make several orders. I have ordered several things to maximize my points. As you said we will see if they show up tomorrow or not

Does anyone know when the $30 in points on a $30 purchase promotion expires? I can't figure it out.

The website says it expires on 8/8. However, the banner is still on their home page!

Another good deal right now is gift cards on Ebay. There is a banner on the eBay home page that allows you to sign up for 8% back in eBay bucks for today only. Then, there is a gift card offer for 12% off on a $100 Sears gift card. The nice thing about Gift cards is that they are a form of payment so you can stack them with most other promotions. (The exception are form-of-payment based promotion like the Sears card 30% back in points.)

I believe that banner is user specific (per someone else's post about it). I don't see any banner.
