They're still running the "get half back in points" special on Craftsman & Dewalt batteries. Should the points show up in the Shopping Cart when it shows how many points I get for a purchase?

Does that special conflict with using Suprise Points? Cause it doesn't show all the points I should be getting back. So afraid to pull the trigger.

Thanks. Saw this and picked up a larger Craftsman battery I've been needing. Since then, with points back and coupons, I've picked up $399 worth of goods (mostly footwear) for less than $90. And still got $10 in points left from the last order.

I gotta say, with the crappy website, empty stores and damn near giving stuff away, I can't figure out how the hell Sears is still in business.

Listen, I love Sears and have a ton of their tools, but they are driving me friggin' nuts.

I placed an on-line order for lawn mower parts. The deal was $10 in point if your ordered. Still don't have the points and when I called they don't even acknowledge the deal even though I have proof of it.

Ugh. So frustrating.

When did you place the order? A lot of their special promotions take a full 24 hrs to show up in your account.

Found out that the 50% back in points only works once per account, but I picked up an extra XCP battery for $80 and got back almost $60 in points, which I put towards a Drill Doctor. I really should have grabbed more batteries and a multi charger to take full advantage of the 50% back deal.

Yeah. If I hadn't gotten so much Ryobi stuff cheap, thanks to the HD thread, I would have gotten a couple more CM batteries. Was a great deal if you used the points wisely.

Sears support is absolute trash, can't understand anything they say nor are they even remotely helpful. I've started shifting to other stores that have much better customer support.

I was just playing around, looking for a good deal and came across this.

"QB--VIP Members get $30 back in points when you spend $100 or more at Sears or Kmart. Points expire in 90 days. INSTORE and ONLINE. Max 1 per member."

Anyone got any deals on Lawn and Garden? I just got $10 off $20 in lawn and garden purchases. I have a full spread of Craftsman shovels and rakes already.

Sears email today - $6 off $15 tools & other. Here's how it plays out - put some impact sockets in the cart, total just over $15. $4.99 shipping. Add couple more sockets, to make the $35 necessary for free shipping with SYWmax. Bottom line, $32.34 with the $6 off. Same size sockets at Lowes, (Kobalt sockets), are $27.03. Anyone think Craftsman impacts are better than Kobalt?

Can you do in-store pickup? That would save you having to go to the $35 threshold.

Nah, the only Sears store is a good distance away, while I hit lowes 2 or 3 times a month. Only time I go to the Sears store is if it's something I really want and it's store pickup only. I'll take the $$ savings and go Kobalt.

Nope, wouldn't pay more for Craftsman over Kobalt. And Sunex or Tekton might be even cheaper too

I even think Harbor Freight impact sockets are better than the Craftsman impacts.

Just a heads up to everyone, Sears has a small line of Grip-on locking pliers. I recently ordered the GR121-07:

http://www.sears.com/grip-on-7-inch...sellerId=SEARS&prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=G1

I actually received the orange epoxy finished model, not the nickel-plated ones (pic on sears.com shows the nickel-plated ones). The epoxy finish is usually a $5 premium.

While not great deals in and of themselves, these could be bought well with coupons or surprise points. Plenty in the $20-25 range.

Yes, that one. I lost as well, but you get 5000 points added to your account if it is still active for entering. Check your account in an hour or two to see if it was added.

It seems their point system is down. Mine don't show up either, and at shopyourway.com it says their system is currently undergoing maintenance.
