Why do you say this is the last chance to pick up the professional series pry bars? Are they being replaced by the new regular pry bars that come standard with the strike caps?

The Pro pry bars are on death watch, so I assume that's what he means. Sears has done away with nearly all other "Craftsman Professional" tools, so it's likely they will do the same with these. Them bringing out the updated regular Craftsman pry bars with striking caps only puts another nail in the coffin of the Pros.

All of the Professional stuff seems to be being phased out. These bars went Clearance by me a few months back. I think that it is the general consensus around here that these are being discontinued and replaced by the new bars with red handles and striking caps. You no longer can find the Professional Pry Bar singles, which used to be stocked online. I think that they made like a 30 incher and 10.

Gladiator Premier welded 30x30 cabinets, at an all time low price of $89.99.

Also, NOT a HOT BUY, so it takes coupon codes (like the $10 off $50 most people have in ShopYourWay coupons). Which then brings them down to $79.99 each.

How did you combine the $20 off $150 coupon with $20 in surprise points? I thought you could only use surprise points OR a coupon?

It really depends on the surprise points, sometimes they allow coupons, other times they don't (granted most times they don't)

Did anyone recently stumble on that Craftsman Mechanics 100+ Piece Tool Set with Cart? It was going for $80 with $65 back in points. Almost too good to be true.

It was a very basic homeowner type tool box with a chinese socket set. Maybe if it was $80 with $180 back id consider buying it for someone else.

Wasn't it 50% back in points?

So pay $79.99 (after student discount coupon) with your own money (not rewards), and get about $40 back in points.

Bottom of the line tool box, so it didn't even have ball-bearing drawer slides.

But, I bought my 8-year old's small homeowner tool sets for Christmas. If either had room in their rooms for a small box, I'd consider it.

That 26" Tool Box has the same handle design as the Cantilever Box, for $17.49 and potentially cheaper after points, makes a good choice I would say.

Craftsman 6 piece Jeweler's precision screwdriver set. Says made in USA. $3.00 off to $9.99 Hot Buy.

http://www.sears.com/craftsman-6-pc-screwdriver-set-jewelers/p-00941106000P

That is kind of cool that they match the style of older Craftsman screwdrivers, but having used "real" jewelers drivers these aren't very practical, hold in the hand vs turn with fingers with the top of the held against index finger knuckle.

$10 though, might be a good filler for coupons.

These liners are priced right, slightly more length for the same similarly proportional price like Harbor Freight

Craftsman Non-Slip Foam Drawer Liner Roll
$9.99 (Use points for additional off)

http://www.sears.com/craftsman-non-...150327xVigLink&aff=Y&PID=6147012&AID=11042411

The Drawer Liner Rolls are still on sale for $9.99. But now they are giving back $5 worth of points. Normally $19.99, on sale for $9.99, with $5.00 back in points.

That's effectively getting down below Harbor Freight prices with the points back. Points don't roll, and can't pay with points and earn points. Must by the full ten bucks out of pocket to get the five bucks back.

Does anyone else have a point promotion appearing that offers $10 in points on a $50 purchase - twice? i.e., actually $20 on a $50 purchase? I'm wondering if it was a mistake?

This was showing on my account earlier today and also allowed a coupon ($10 points on $50) for a combined total of $30 back in points on $50.

Got 2 pairs of Knipex pliers for $51 and $30 back in points.

Anyone notice the 36" pry bar went from $17.65 to $17.09 yesterday to $17.08 today?

Feels like Amazon bot pricing. It is (or has been - I did not check TODAY) OOS for shipping but my local store shows 1 (which means they likely have 2)

Looks like it skips 2 sizes - 10mm and 18mm - that are used frequently. The Gearwrench set that is on sale frequently includes more sizes and usually includes the SAE set for free.

Looks like 9 mm, 11 mm, 16 mm, and 18 mm to me.

The list on Sears.com shows a 9 but no 10 or 18.

Sent from my SM-G930R4 using Tapatalk
If you read the review he mentions the listing is wrong and includes the 10 mm, picture is right. He did a good job on the review but does not state the country of origin.

I bought the metric set when I got 50 in points for buying the tool chest on Black Friday. It has a 10mm no 9mm. Also came wrapped in a plastic bag stuck in a box no country of origin on the piece of paper. So no idea if made in China or Taiwan.

18 mm would be an issue for Ford guys. 11 mm is small enough you can be ok with a regular size wrench.

If a non-tool truck company (Tekton HF etc.) would make a flex head, locking, ratcheting XL wrench, they would clean up!
