Thanks for this! I played three spin-games and won 150 points!

That's good, right?
Not as cool as winning a tool box...

OK, I haven't read this thread to know if this is *expected* or not.
A short hour ago I went to the link, played a few spin games and won a few points, 50 or 100 at a time. I then followed a couple of the come-ons to sign up mor select to answer a question or two on popup surveys. (I know I'll regret it). So, I went back to my Shop your way account page and I now have 359 points. MNakes perferct sense.
And then I notice that I nowe have *98000* surprise points. Yes, $98 worth.
A pretty easy pickup, that.

spend them now, before they figure it out. i had 11$ in points that didnt show up anywhere, just appeared when there was stuff in my cart, with an expiration date of "invalid date".

i half expect the whole system to just implode soon . . . . .

Surprise points have conditions on them.
It is doubtful you have a clean $98 to spend.

Yep. The points are spread over departments and there are minimum purchase amounts, so, yeah...strings

Appliances: 60/499
Tools: 12/40
shoes 9/20

etc

the biggest two expire *today*

Hey fellas. Please don't post on this thread unless you have a deal to post. Using the deals thread for general conversation will get your account closed.

Thanks.

When did this become the "let's chat about sweeps" thread?

because that is a "deal" that sears offers. you play the games, and win "money" to spend at sears.

personally, it is not worth it to me, but i can understand the draw.

i would also note that the people who seem to be driving that conversation are also the ones who seem to post a lot of other deals from sears. moaning about side comments by people who dont seem to post deals themselves is what caused me to stop posting deals on the amazon thread.

maybe it is time to abandon these threads, and open "deals and discussions about deals" threads in the tools area. that way, everyone would be happy, eh?

Those threads already exist, see my signature for links. Those are the threads started for all discussion, on that forum at the mod's suggestion, once the mods decreed that all discussion was off-topic for the deal threads.

While I personally don't mind the discussion in the deals threads, others keep complaining to the mods. The mods have posted they are about ready to close accounts. So let's respect the mods wishes and use the discussion threads, since we are the guests in the mods' "house".

So if someone posts a deal here, then the rest of us have to go over to a different thread to comment whether the deal is good or bad? :wtf:

no, abandon these threads, and take the deals, and discussions, over to the new ones.

i dont think it is viable to have a "deals only" thread. i am sorry that the people who dont contribute and are only here to get a deal are upset that they have to skip over the comments, but . . . . . .

thanx to woodturner9 for posting about the other threads. see ya there.

I'm heading to my hometown store for another pickup, might as well grab me one of these I guess... lol...

I was playing around with my cart, I guess because they are a hot buy the surprise points won't work.... But when I went above $50 this $9 in surprise points appeared with an "expires on invalid date"... Yay sears...

I been leaving something in my Sears cart (even if I do not plan to buy it) just to sniff out these "hidden" surprise points. I just find out I have $4 of $4 surprise points that only displayed when I have something in my cart. It also say "expires on invalid date"

And yes, I bought something immediately before Sears change its mind and took it away lol

Yay Sears :rocker:

Personally, I don't know how you guys can support Sears/Kmart, which is owned by Eddie Lampert. He is intentionally driving the company into bankruptcy so he can steal the real estate. He has been giving loans to sears that are backed by sears stores as collateral. So when sears/kmart go bankrupt and the common stock is worthless, he'll take control of the real estate. When sears goes bankrupt thousands of people will lose their jobs. Families will be destroyed. I can not be a part of that. I hope someone sues Eddie Lampert and he goes to jail for what he's doing. I don't know how you guys can shop there with a clear conscious knowing what's going on.

Lets get back to deals discussion

$1 game is up - good luck!

I guess this offer in the weekly store ad is some sort of challenge to beat the Sears price.

It's displayed next to this $49.99 set in the ad:

I agree whole heatedly, I would support an activist investor starting a hostile takeover to wrench the company out of Eddie Lampert's hands. With solid, committed leadership, I think Sears can survive, but Eddie hos so many conflicts of interest between Sears and Seritage holdings (his company) that an SEC lawyer needs to investigate him and get him to return the stolen real estate back to Sears Holdings.

Im sure him or his cronies will get alot of the real estate when they do go bankrupt real cheap.

$5 Wild Wins game 1 PM CT is up.

Looks like these WW games are now happening more often on other days than Wednesday.

Yeah I noticed one early this morning too...

FYI if you have the "Win it" app on your phone, it has a button of the XTRA games, which include the wild wins. So you can check it from your phone instead of having to be by the computer. ;)

Which days have more than Wednesday?

There were five WW xtra games on Wed, and only three for today.

Sears changed things a couple months back. It originally was 'Wild Win Wednesdays', and still is (I think), but moved from sweeps to 'Xtra,' as it was an instant win game. There are other instant win 'lottos,' for lack of a better term, that seem always to be 'new' every couple days
