I'm curious what you ordered in the Home department.

I needed some vacuum sealer rolls (for foodsaver), so I figured I might as well just stock up since in the end they would be practically free...

Of course I forgot I also need a large / cheap stock pot for canning this summer. I have one large pot for boiling the jars in, and my regular large pot I usually cook with that I will pre-heat jars / surplus water. My problem is if I do something like want to can tomato sauce I have to make it in a couple smaller pots. I've been going to estate sales but haven't had any luck.

You have to watch Sears pricing on small kitchen appliances, most are marked up more than what you could find at like Amazon or Walmart... Just depends on how many discounts you have I guess...

I usually wait till 50% off day to go to estate sales, and I don't recall ever seeing big kitchen pots (though it's not something I've been looking for, I always walk through the kitchen), so I think they go fast when there were any.

The additional 10% off tools online is virtually guaranteed to continue through this Saturday March 3, as it is listed with that end date in the special offer details if you expand that bar above the product name/photo area. Their prices do sometimes fluctuate unpredictably, but I don't recall any offers with specific end dates ending prematurely, only sometimes extended.

Getting your $40 back awarded promptly is the more likely thing to have issues with. Hopefully it will all work out. :)

The recent 30% back in points on tools showed an expiration of 2/24, but it disappeared about a week early.

Wow, they're really giving stuff away this week. I managed 2x $30 cash no minimum spend, once Sunday and again today.

How? Just chance?

Sears randomly sends out good surprise points freecash offers like that sometimes ($x off $0.01+, or $x off $x), mostly to newer/dormant accounts.

Everyone can get a $7 off $0.01+ offer right now by playing the "Freecash Fun Game" on https://www.shopyourway.com/app/20750/l (the offer gets added to your account after the first time you play it, win or lose).

Thanks for sharing. But it didn't work. Landed on "sorry", and then there were no additional points on my account.

The "sorry" doesn't matter, the offer applies whether you win or lose, as I said.

I just see a bunch of random offers when I navigate to coupons. Oh well

It won't be under "Coupons". It will be under "Freecash in points offers". If you still don't see it in the correct place, try adding something to your cart and see if it shows up at checkout. If it doesn't come up there either, make sure you're subscribed to emails in your account settings on shopyourway.com (required to get these offers), and try the game again after subscribing (it will reset for the day soon to let you try again if needed, at midnight CT).

Sorry Sears makes everything so complicated. This **** confuses people unfamiliar with it every time...

Craftsman 69602 50' x 5/8" Premium Rubber Garden Hose $20.

http://www.sears.com/craftsman-all-rubber-garden-hose-5-8-in-x/p-07169602000P

The picture says this is the US made version with 756 reviews.

For some reason they lower the price, and available to pick-up for me, and with that $7 freecash, just perfect timing :D

Did you look at ALL the pictures? Two of the pictures show the USA version (with nickel plated brass fittings). BUT... One of the pictures shows the China version (brass fittings).

So buyer beware...

This picture is a China hose (brass fittings):
prod_1671778112

While the other pictures show a USA hose (nickel platted brass fittings):
prod_1671522812

So it is a **** shoot on exactly which hose you will actually get, China or USA.

I got the $7 in freecash from losing that game yesterday, and it showed up in my account in about an hour, with another 3 random freecash offers.

Today I have ONE freecash offer ($15 off $65), and the $7 from yesterday has disappeared.

I keep telling myself to not even open the sears threads because they are such a gong show. I think this is the end for me.

Don't look at it in the Sears website, look at it in the ShopYourWay website. You still have the $7 from yesterday, it just doesn't show on the Sears website, but if you add something to your cart, you will see the points. Or you can see them on ShopYourWay.

I *think* the actual newer chinese versions are a different model #... But to anyone I would recommend going to the store first to verify.

Any suggestions of what to use that 15 off 65 offer for? I'm especially interested in power tools, but Sears available for shipping selection is pitiful, and I don't have a sears nearby for pickup.

Right, but if you order the "old" model number for store pickup, and the guy picking the stock goes over to get a "50 foot Craftsman Rubber Hose", he might just grab whatever is closest or easiest for him and hand you whatever Craftsman Rubber Hose he happened to pick up.

Good idea to check the store. In the past, when there was a mix of USA and China versions, and they gave me a China version, I would actually say "Can I switch this for the USA version over there" and they would say go switch it. But you have to keep an eye on this, otherwise you might order USA but get China. Even if they have a stack of old stock USA sitting on the floor.

I'm seeing this $19.99 USA model available only at one store in a 100-mile radius. On the other hand, the newer $26.99 China model is available at multiple stores.

Definitely going to have to do some digging to get to the USA version at the bottom of the pile.

I also noticed that the photo of the USA model with the brass fittings (not nickel-plated) shows a hexagon-shaped hose.

You are correct about the picture has brass fittings but the hose is hexagon so I am hoping it is the US version - pretty sure mine is hexagon as well, but it is raining and cold outside, so not going to go to the yard to look at them. I am also hoping since it has different part number than the Chinese version, my chance getting the US version is better than **** shoot.

Yes ideally it is better to take a look first at the store. For me, that is not an option. Local store do not have this item.

If they just hand me a different hose with different part number, I can point it out to them that this is not what I ordered. The local hometown store has been nothing but great, and I know them well. I am hoping they can help here if there is a mix-up.

They delisted the butterfly impact too... It was an active listing last night. I wonder why they are desisting so many items lately.

Keep an eye on the in store scanned price on these items no longer on the website. They may very likely go the way of the 8" drill press deal of months ago.

I ended up with something like 7-8 of those presses for $25 a pop, gave em out to friends/co-workers etc for what I paid or gifts. Some scanned the $25 some were already out of the system so I had to save my old $25 receipts and call managers in to get the deals done. But I was never denied that price in the end.

That basically cannot happen, he has to scan the UPC with his handheld to verify the correct item was pulled, and the system won't let him post the order until he scans the correct item. If two different parts have the same UPC, though, that could happen.

Most likely no stock and they are dropping the clearance item.
The difference between Sears system thinking there is no stock of something and the shelf at a given store having none though is usually pretty significant. All these deals listed here are usually OOS according to the website but if I check my 4 local stores usually one or more has it

The crowfoot prior to yesterday were shipping and ship to store eligible. That is what is throwing me off. They killed both the metric and inch sets on the same day. I hope this is not a sign of things to come, where items are almost full price, followed by disappearing completely, without discounting to clear stock.

In addition to accidental inventory errors, the system is supposed to intentionally not count the last one of an item in a store for website availability. (So when inventory is accurate, it will say online that a particular store is out of a particular product when it still has 1 left. Unfortunately this looks/acts exactly like when the store really has 0 left, unless you go in person.)

So there is a USA made version that has Yellow Brass ends and a Hexagon black rubber hose?

Are the USA hoses worth a 50 mile one way drive? The nearest Sears that has them is a hometown site in the middle of nowhere and shipping isn’t available.

I was at my Hometown store today talking to the owner. I remembered to look over all the C3 and he has one of the HD impacts left. I told him Sears.com doesn't even show it anymore on their website. The hometown store showed he had 2 in stock.

He went to the computer and he updated the system to only show the 1 he had. Likewise he was able to tell me the last time he got a shipment in and how often that item sold... Like 2 per YEAR... lol... I need to build up points to grab that impact driver, with my luck someone will grab it in the next week...

I also found one of the older style C3 hammer drills in the back stock room! lol.. Everything else I saw was just duplicates of what was already on the shelves.

He was telling me about how Sears will only send him ONE individual screwdriver (now China of course) of each kind to put out now. He had some guy come in literally the day he just put them out to exchange some and wiped out what little he had. He does have a bunch of packaged sets, even some small USA ones still... Just odd there is no individual stock, I mean screwdrivers aren't exactly a high dollar item...

I swear I saw some CMan 20v lithium batteries, I vaguely remember a professional line but I think those got discontinued a while back. Crazy he has batteries for them.

Finally as for the Hoses... I took a pic of the USA 50' while I was there for you guys.

EDIT - As for so many items dropping out of the system... Don't discount the idea that some low payed coder made a big oops and borked a lot of items out of the database by accident. Give it a week and see if they re-appear...

Yeah there was a red 20V Professional line offered for a short time. I have the full lineup. I think the tools disappeared 7-8 years ago and the batteries and chargers about 3-5 years ago. I haven't seen any of it in a Sears store in a long time!
