For in-store at Sears through 3/24, they're advertising $50 cashback in points on $100 or more in tools.

It's probably only at full-line stores, not smaller Hometown or Hardware type stores.

Links don't work for me anymore just goes to Sears homepage.

I reported that over in the Questions section a week ago. Still no response.

Request:

For the near term, at least, please post the name of the product as well as the link so those of us with viglink issues can search.

Thank you.

Hmmm...I wonder how many people were unable to view the links I've posted here.

None of the links you or Hexan posted yesterday or today worked for me. But
I still appreciate the efforts. Just had to search Sears’ site to find each item.

Those with viglink issues, go to viglink.com, scroll to the bottom, click opt out, then click Disable. I'm not sure how it gets enabled in the first place, but for some reason, it somehow gets enabled periodically.

I got plenty of the red 13" bags, but these two are 16" and 20".

Craftsman Tool Bag Combo $11.99

The smaller black craftsman bags 10 and 12 inches are also in sale at a lower than usual price also. I think $6.99? Usually sale price is $7.50.

Man I hate Searspartsdirect sometimes... (Okay, well most of the time)...

Trying to order a new sanding disc plate for my stationary sander... It's $9 and listed as a restricted item so I chat with someone. "Oh, let me find you a replacement item"...

Here, you can order this 2-pack for $25...

*rolleyes*.... Why would I need two of them?

At least on SPD they are doing a points back promo too...

When I click the links in the email notification I get from here they work fine but here they don't work so the problem is this site!

Those with viglink issues, go to viglink.com, scroll to the bottom, click opt out, then click Disable. I'm not sure how it gets enabled in the first place, but for some reason, it somehow gets enabled periodically.

Yeah, they all work fine for me. I forgot this site uses viglink, since I've had it disabled/blocked forever. It breaks a lot of stuff. Definitely do what vjquan suggested.

vjquan - It "gets enabled in the first place" because it is enabled by default for everyone the entire world. They let people opt out of it by setting a cookie to save that preference, in the one web browser you were using at that time on the one computer you were using at that time. If you ever change browsers or devices, or clear your browser's cookies (which should never be necessary, btw, I always only delete specific cookies when needed instead of clearing them all), then you'll have to go back to viglink.com to disable it again.

Thanks for finding that! So what the cashier told me last night was almost right. Until I saw your post, all I'd seen in email from Sears today was a different online-only offer...

I get things resetting depending on personal browsing habits, but it seems it was broken at the same time for everyone. Makes me wonder if some site was able to re-enable it without telling the user, that we all seemed to have visited.

Mine was enabled, yet I had no issues?

I bet you're using some ad-blocking browser extension, then..? (Some, but not all of them, block viglink automatically. It can be manually blocked in any ad-blocker too, but that gets more complicated.)

I'm on an iPad and links go to the home page. I went to viglink and can't click on the opt out or anything on the bottom of their page. Arrrgh.

Many ipod devices let you change to either show desktop site or change agent to something liked Internet Explorer, etc. In settings. That should fix that.

Tried it in Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Brave. Worked for each. :dunno:

workaround method: Long-touch on the link and then choose "copy link url" from the pop-up dialog, open a new tab and then paste and go.

Get the vessel made impact set. Even better.

Edit: or even the Chinese made diamond tipped ones, still better.

Well I had some points to burn and ended up purchasing the impact screwdrivers, small bit driver set and some gloves.

I'm up to $40 in freecash, not sure what I want to buy. Only offer I have is $20 in freecash on $150 purchase...

I know if I buy something it will trigger some freecash offers... Thinking maybe those impact screwdrivers... hmm....

Had some surprise points and just took the plunge on some of the extreme grip screwdrivers. Will compare them side by side with the black Friday Craftsman pros that I currently have.

Also...I'm pretty sure EOC Jason is Eddie Lampert.

Mostly the mini screwdrivers at my nearest store:

Or maybe this bulky ratcheting screwdriver?

I've got some points to burn and they expire tomorrow. I'm about Sears'ed out on stuff. Not that I really need it but does anyone have this ratcheting screwdriver they could give some feedback on? Good, bad or OK?

I have it... bought it for much the same reason you're considering it (i.e. had points expiring)... and actually like it (maybe because I didn't have high expectations). The ratcheting action works well... and the handle wasn't really as bulky as I thought it would be.

I don't turn wrenches professionally... but it's the only ratcheting screwing that's in the top of my toolbox so it gets enough use... and it hasn't broken or skipped, yet. For higher-torque applications, I will reach for something non-ratcheting... but that's not really a knock against it.

Mine was made in the USA... I got it about a year-and-a-half ago from a Sears Hardware store.
