:lol_hitti I think that looks like a nice price, though it's not a product I've looked at before. Comparable alternatives seem to be well over $100.

The key is whether the router you bought is one of the models it's designed for... from the manual: https://c.searspartsdirect.com/mmh/pd_download/lis_pdf/OWNM/1311250L.pdf

"Above-the-table height adjustment: This table is provided with an above-the-table adjustment hole to accommodate bit height adjustment on the following Craftsman router models: 17541, 2767, 27666, 2768, 27683, 27669, 27680, 17542, 28190, 28084. The bit height on the installed router can be adjusted by turning the adjustment knob clockwise or counterclockwise with a hex wrench (not included)."

"This router table is suitable for mounting the following Craftsman router models: 17541, 2767, 27666, 2768, 27683, 27669, 27680, 17542, 28190, 28084, 17540, 17543."
[the last couple of model numbers are on this list but not on the first list from one paragraph up :dunno:]

The model of the router I bought was 27683... so it appears to be compatible. I might actually do the "Buy $100, Get $30 Back" deal with this (and something else)... since you're supposed to get the points the next day.

For any of you who don't have the highly-regarded, Vessel-made impact screwdriver set... now is the time!

Craftsman 2-PC IMPACT SCREWDRIVER SET - $15.12

https://www.sears.com/craftsman-2-pc-impact-screwdriver-set/p-00986616000P

Another record-low price! Rarely below $20. Highly recommended.

This night is crazy, it's like Sears is having an unadvertised Black Friday a week early. :bounce: Their actual Black Friday sales, as promoted in the ad already released early, didn't look very exciting.

I try to avoid butyrate handles personally, but I was tempted by the cheap tack puller shared earlier... here is a matching scratch awl for those who don't mind that handle type:
https://www.sears.com/craftsman-scratch-awl/p-00941028000P
$1.44 sale, $5.99 regularly

I had about $40 of points to spend... it took longer than I'd like in the middle of the night to figure out what to get, but I spent it all with a few cents to spare. ;)

$13.03 sale [usually ~$20+], $31.99 reg https://www.sears.com/craftsman-48-in-extra-heavy-duty-aluminum-adjust/p-00939638000P (Unfortunately someone else bought the last online-buyable one of these at my local store while I was making up my mind... now I have to wait for ship-to-store, but it should arrive next Wednesday. Thanks for posting this, btoonis, it hadn't showed up in the way I was looking through product listings, Sears often generates incomplete results.)

$12.83 sale [lowest seen before: $13.99, rarely seen below $17.99], $19.99 reg v-jaw http://www.sears.com/irwin-12inch-groovelock-pliers/p-00914008000P (last variety of these that Sears carries that I didn't have yet... been waiting for them to get back down around $14 again, and this is even better)

$4.19 sale [usually ~$11], $15.99 reg https://www.sears.com/craftsman-hose-pinch-pliers/p-00949283000P (I think it's time to give up on the other elusive metal hose pinch pliers ever coming back, and what a bargain)

bought 11/16/18 online - $10.15 sale [usually ~$18], $24.99 reg https://www.sears.com/craftsman-3pc-line-clamp-plier-set/p-00949288000P (HF has a similar set of 3 plastic line/hose clamps for $15 -20%, so I had been going to get those, but Sears is now - briefly - an even better deal!)

I think that's a total savings of about $27 better than typical sale prices, or $52 better than full prices.

(Plus I got the $10.44 folding tamperproof torx tool earlier last night. That's another $4-$7 saved.)

FWIW a lot of the hot buy prices are still showing up for me, so if you're just getting to this late i'd click through the last two pages of links and see what's still on sale

thanks so much to the OP as i was about to go to bed last night and instead spent an extra 90 minutes online. chatted with a great rep that PMd a hot buy price on a washer/dryer combo (that two other reps had denied me on) so i got back an extra $96 in points/credit, then quickly proceeded to spend $90 OOP on 2 orders

deal of the night (due to points, not overall price) was getting a 4-tool porter cable combo kit for $27 OOP. spent $15 more than BF ads ive seen from lowes/tractor supply, but to get to use up a ton of points instead of paying $150 cash was soooooo worth it. ive had my eye on it for awhile and it was only available in stock at one hometown store. very odd but very lucky

this forum rocks

I wasn't planning on buying anything, but...I got a lot of the items you guys listed. I spent just over $100 so I should be getting $30 back. You have to take advantage of deals when you see them. Thanks!

I got a backup set of impact screwdrivers while I have the chance.

As usual though, the website was ******* me off. Some stuff wasn't availabe for free shipping, so I said screw it and just put everything for pick up today. Not to mention that the minimum shipping amount went up to $59.

Something funny I noted the last week or so.

Since my store showed up on the close list last week, none of these links you guys posted will show as my store as a ship to store option.

Yeah, as Hexen said, as soon as the store is on the 'closed' list, they stop accepting any new deliveries...

Happened here when the Sears at the mall was closing. Only place you could get shipped-to-store was a local HomeTown store.

X2 on those hose pinch pliers being a steal. Comming from someone who has the "coveted USA" ones, both types have their place. I bought all I could find near me last night, literally cannot have enough of them for a big coolant job.

Also not sure if mentioned, but the 24" magnetic level for $6.90 is a steal. USA is being phased out for china so grab when you can.

Most prices are still up this morning. The only one I know is gone is the 168? set for $35?ish. Not really a fantastic deal in my opinion due to limited sizes, the harbor freight set is a better value.

Holy ****, late to the party, and glad I saved my Freecash! Thanks all for posting up the best hot buys. I wonder how many people they employ just to fluctuate the prices constantly.

Surprising that these prices haven't reset yet! They're not promoting the sale as being extended, so there's no indication of the likely end time anymore. :headscrat I feel like maybe this is a 'parting gift' from some of the departing employees, and the remaining ones aren't in a hurry to hit the off-button on it. ;)

got the Hose Pinch Pliers and 2-PC IMPACT SCREWDRIVER SET for now. The order can go through if paid with points, but not with credit card or paypal. Want to get the 24" level as well but I have 3 dollars short in points. May try again later in the day.

After staying up until almost midnight looking for the sale items, I spoke with a chat rep about when prices would change. There were 2 sales, each with different items:
  • 5% off, which ended at midnight CT
  • "Hot Buys", which I was told doesn't end until tomorrow, and has the best prices I've ever seen

I didn't send up flares here because I was passing out tired and knew we'd all have the next 2 days to share the deals.

Parting gift from departing employees, and the remaining ones do not know this sale happened :lol_hitti Good chance they have people starting their Thanksgiving break early, so there is a chance that they may not be aware...

I was kinda kicking myself for spending ~$80 in points (which expires next yr) a few months ago when news hit that Sears was filling for bankruptcy. I got an impact driver which I needed at that time, but ~$80 in points would have gone a long way last night. I did get a few things, so I am not feeling that bad.

EDIT: I do not remember we have this kind of sale last year, am I right? I mean some of the prices are just crazy...

Would not mind if said employees bumped up the wins extra or the wild games. Haha

The 5% was officially supposed to last till 7am CT this morning, definitely was not intended to end at midnight. It was called the "midnight madness" sale on the homepage promotional banner while that was up last night, though that just meant it ran all night. Although clearly wrong about that part, hopefully your rep was right about the other part. :) I do see that the items that only had the paltry 5%-off have gone back to their pre-5%-off price today, it's just the super-low-hot-buy-price items that have stayed low.

This sale is unprecedented. Last year they were giving away a lot more freecash surprise points throughout the holiday shopping season, though.

My guess is real estate. Sears still own a lot of properties (warehouses, offices, 500+stores?). Some of these stores were bought many years ago, so they probably worth a fortune now since it is located in the middle of malls/shopping centers.

You want a loan? Absolutely. When you can not pay, we will take one of that properties (which I am sure are valued pennies to the dollar). How is that not a great deal?

Trust me, the lenders are not dumb. Everyone knows Sears is going to die, it is just a matter of when. They most likely rooting for Sears to die so they can collect a larger payday.

Sears still have plenty of assets. Just like us, we are getting tools for pennies to the dollar, they just doing it on larger scale :lol_hitti

Well this news story (11/16) just makes a ton of sense. They are approved to sell their "best stores" that are supposedly making the company money. So it use to be worrying your store sucked, now you need to worry they have their **** together. :wtf:

I was told last month the corporate store near me was 6th in the company, which didn't necessarily surprise me. The person that told me this I swear is signing up someone every time I go in for either their credit card or bleeping layaway! :shocking:

And continuing with the school of how not to run a business...$19 mil in bonuses to those brainy execs

FYI As of 11/15 sears has let go of ALL of its internal building maintenance people. The few stores that are staying open are going to go downhill fast. The amount of **** I had to fix on a daily basis would surprise you people. Thought it was cold in the winter/hot in the summer? Just imagine how bad its gonna be when the stores don't have someone who knows what buttons to press to keep that old busted equipment running. Not to mention how busted the bathrooms are gonna get!

I always thought it was regular employees that did that, typically guys from the warehouse. Or maybe the maintenance guy was my order pick-up person?

Back up to $19.99 at 1800 hours EST

Most/many of the Hot Buy sales are still going, though that one ended.

Insomnia claims anudder. Awake at 3:30 am this morning I read GJ, saw this ^^^, clicked the link, and then ran and got my credit card. Padded it to get over the free shipping threshold and SHAZAM it's already confirmed as shipped. This is a wonderful deal for a 20 ton bottle jack.

Thanks Hexen.

This was a dedicated job position, QMT. Quality maintenance technician or something like that. Definitely not the back-room product-pickup people. But they've been gradually reducing the number of QMTs for a while already, so many of them had to cover multiple stores, and you might have seen other employees trying to make do while their QMT was at another store that day.

I am sorry they let you go around this holiday season, if I am reading that correctly. That is a mistake by corporate or whomever. The knowledge of systems, fire, heat, ac, electrical, escalators, elevators and just general repair is staggering. You are absolutely correct how fast the downhill slide will be of those stores. As frustrating and sometimes comical, Eddie Lampert, as Sears downward spiral has been I know the guys in the tool department and shipping/receiving at my store are fantastic and work their butts off. These are good working people with families to provide for and the whole thing is very sad.

Cyber Monday last year was this same level of crazy deals, more USA availability too. In fact you could even get some of the deals in store for a single day. They were slow taking down the sale tags so I did well into the next week forcing them to price match the posted price. Unfortunately the really good deals that time lasted under 12 hours online before the prices ticked up. This time they lasted until early evening for some items here on the west coast, other are still super cheap.

I got the Vessel impact drivers before the hike. Very happy, never seen them for $15.

The 24" level is also back up, got one ordered and ready for pickup. If its Chinese I'll swap it at my local store for their USA that didn't show as in stock online.

Stuff that is still cheap, likely until at least midnight tonight:

I went to my local Sears, one of the few that’s still reasonably busy. I picked up a bunch of the stuff that is listed above and the clerk price matched all of it without any issues. Thank you to all that listed these deals.

The 6 piece chisel set was USA coo and there were several still on the shelf so check your stores. Six USA punches/chisels for under 10.00 is a great deal.

The Taiwan hose pinch pliers are close enough to the USA made version when they are under 5.00 a pair. I don’t know if I’ll ever use them, but I’ve learned the GJ way is to buy three of a tool just in case.

I'm new to GJ but I must admit I have long had a problem of buying 3 "just in case". Thanks timoboy for posting the link with all the deals. I just ordered a bunch of stuff for stocking stuffers.
