I went back for a couple more items despite not quite enough points, couple bucks OOP. Debated till after midnight but prices are still holding for now.

Decided to get that bar - $4.64 sale, $19.99 regularly. HF has a good set of rolling wedge pry bars in 3 sizes for only $7 total, but that Craftsman one is 4" longer than those, so it seems worth having them all.

Update: It is doing the coupon-center thing for some people, unfortunately, but it's worth a try.

I was able to use a $20 off a $150 purchase coupon when I was checking out last night, and then I decided to add a few more items in my cart, then the coupon disappeared. When I tried to enter it again, it said that nothing in my cart was eligible. I was able to use the $5 off $35.


And all the deals are now DEAD, lol. Saved me from spending more money, lol.

If you can't even send the message, either you have a typo or your phone service is one that doesn't like these kinds of short-codes.

If you do send the message but all you get back is a link to your coupon center (where there might coincidentally happen to be a useless-to-most-people coupon with a huge spend requirement), you have not received the offer, that's the thing they do where they don't give the texting offer to some frequent customers. They didn't do that to me this time, after months of that, so I thought you'd all be able to get it, but apparently it's still hit-and-miss.

I went onto chat and got an unhelpful rep... they wouldn't even cancel my order because the remaining item was "preparing to ship". Said I had to either call the SYWR team and beg for an "exception"... of call the "Phone team" and have them contact UPS to intercept the shipment. WTF?!?

Later that day, I tried chat, again. This time, I got a rep who said "Since it was Sears that canceled one of the items, how about I just add $50 to your account so you don't cancel the rest of the order?"

If you've picked up/received your entire order, you could try chat, again. I have also forwarded my order confirmation e-mail (it should have the bonus points earned) to [email protected] and gotten them to add points/honor the deal.

You could try texting "STOP"... wait a day or two... and try again. That worked for me earlier this year... I got a couple of offers after that. They've since stopped... so I texted "STOP" last week... and will see if I get this offer.

I just realized the points for the Turkey offer were in store only anyway, so I just texted stop.

The sears random pricing thing just got me; I had put some Irwin bar clamps in my cart last night, intending to buy $150 worth, get the $30 back, and then buy another $100 or so. The site was too slow, so thought I would do it this morning. Now, my $150 worth is up to over $300 in the cart, so no sale.

I can't see how this bizarre random pricing thing helps their cause in any way! It's either give it away, or no sale, nothing in between.

Well, the midnight madness sale started Thursday night and was supposed to end 7AM Friday, so the madness lasted a lot longer than advertised.

Can't really use the "Pending" part as a guide anymore.

I got my bonus points for a previous offer after I completed store pickup, even thought there was no mention of pending points in the points history.

I didn't get the freecash offer, but I wonder if they actually know how to program the freecash to be rejected on doorbusters.

Guess you can test it on doorbusters with the Sunday BF preview sale for members (In-store: 4-9PM). I was hoping to use the fc on the Craftsman storage seat for $59.99, but that plan is a bust.

either way, i went back for seconds (or thirds, actually) last night and ordered another bunch of ****. wish i would have got that air line filter/regulator for $10. all the way back up to $36 now

ahh well...it was good while it lasted. got by with only ~$105 OOP and $140 in points. lol blew my wad before black friday, i was not expecting that

I just looked at my email from the order, and you guys are correct. Email says I will receive the $30 back on my $100 purchase (times two orders) when I pick up my goods. I was going to post up a couple of my other cheap finds last night, but the website was so slow (I had to change everything in my cart from shipping to store pickup, because it was charging me for shipping on just about everything). I didn't get my last order placed until almost 1am. Prices then went up right after I finished my order. I'm interested to see if they drop again for Black Friday. If they do, I will post up, I appreciate all of you who posted up the best deals, and wish I would have been able to contribute!

Do not want to sound dumb here, but I have other pry bars (and I assume others here have too). I could not figure out if there is an instance where one would use this instead of regular pry bar. What do you all use this for? Maybe I am missing something...

I dunno, I read some about them last night (they're also called ladysfoot prybars, btw), nothing really jumped out at me as a 'no other way to do this' situation but I still decided to spend on it anyway, lured by the 75% off. It's like hammers, most people get by with one or two, but having more variety can be nice to get something just right.

I am particularly disappointed about the condition issues with the one I ended up with since that was the thing that pushed me into going a couple bucks OOP, but too late now, not enough money to be worth the time and hassle and potential account screwups to deal with. I hadn't spent anything OOP on the website since at least 2 months ago, so oh well. I'll keep an eye on that shelf and if they ever restock them, maybe I'll try asking the pickup people for a belated swap.

Still no sign of it. Part of the Sears systems act like it's cancelled (auto-refunded me) but it's still listed like an actively processing order everywhere I can see - even on the order pickup kiosk today. Hah! Victory. I remembered that the chat people had shipped a free replacement for a Knipex item that got damaged in shipping a few months ago, so I tried asking if they could order a free replacement for the damaged wedge bar, and they can! If it was just cosmetic I could've still used it, but when I got home and compared to the website photo, I realized the pointy end was actually bent too.
