The probably start it now because they need to let go the guys who can program it before Feb 1 [emoji38]_hitti

It is sad how it becomes. If I need anything, I would rather buy at other places to avoid potential problems (warranty, shipping issues, return, etc) , unless the price at Sears is a lot cheaper. I can tolerate these when I was getting points, but now with paying OOP, kinda hard to beat deals at Amazon or local stores like Home Depot, Lowes. I still keep an eye out incase they have crazy sales, but probably unlikely at this point.
Probably true about the programmers. The only way I spend OOP with Sears now is available today store pickup. I never meet the shipping minimum now and shipping to store seems to be fifty fifty whether I actually receive the item.

Was at my local Sears today picking up the clearanced brake spring pliers and adjuster, and low and behold I seen a few sets of the made in the USA pry bars with striking caps. Should have bought them a long time ago, but my store had them for 24.99.

Kmart points back deals are also cumulative now .
I spent $3 OOP today and got a receipt that said spend $22 more before 2/2 to get $5 back.

Kmart has Christmas stuff @90% off too.

Anyone having trouble with shipping/ using points today? Thought that wasn't starting until Feb.

Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

Just tested $59.99 items on both Sears and Kmart sites, and the free shipping still applies after I redeem a couple bucks in points.

Maybe you caught them when they were testing the new setup that will actually start in February. :dunno:

My local store restocked the clearanced magnetic panels that are deleted from the website.

Still ringing up the same $19.99 in-store price as last time.

Finally! :lol_hitti I have no Kmart and need no more Christmas stuff, but someone on SD was pointing out last week how Kmart had stayed at just 80%-off on their Christmas leftovers for way longer than other stores, despite having massive amounts of it still left over. (Considering the problems Kmarts have been having with keeping anything on the shelves to make them not look empty, Kmart probably wanted the Christmas stuff to hang around this long... in the backgrounds of some of that person's photos, you can see some empty aisles and some filled with single-stacked plastic storage tubs.)

The Fairview Heights, IL store is closing and is picked over pretty good. Some tool boxes left but at only 30% off. The tools were cleared out at only 15% off. Ridiculous.

anyone else having trouble with the bonus points on items lately? im looking into Craftsman Extreme Grip 14 pc. Screwdriver Set and it should have $10.** back in bonus points, but when i add to cart and use either a coupon or coupon and points, the bonus is lost, even though i'll be paying OOP. ive gone through it a few different ways and it looks like anytime i try to use points on it the bonus goes away. did they recently fix this? because just last week i placed an order and used all points and a coupon and $2.** OOP and still got the $12 back in bonus points.

I went by my local sears, nothing spectacular, but it was a ghost town. Ceiling was leaking in a few spots, shelves and most of store was very sparsely stocked. Its a shame, I like the craftsman name and would pony up for decent stuff, but their tool boxes and such are just so overpriced.

You have to spend $40+ OOP before the points are credited to your account. During this sales cycle it $40+ combined purchases not just one purchase that’s allows the $10 back in points.

no, im talking about a different points back offer--some items have extra amounts on the product page listed as points back. last week i paid $2 OOP and got the bonus points on a different item. looks like they fixed that site error i guess?

All I see for the screwdriver set is the $10 back on $40 spend offer, but the price is below $40.

Yeah, and supposedly both online and in-store OOP spending count together for the offer.

For example, if you already paid $12 OOP on another item in-store, then you will need to pay at least $28 OOP for this screwdriver set on the website. Then you get the $10 cashback in points.

OOP money used for taxes and fees get ignored for such offers..

100% cashback on select tools.

I wonder if it will stack with $10 on $40 purchase.

has anyone seen something like this in their wishlist before? the punch says FREE with a line through it then the regular (clearance) price below. I've gone to the product page and it lists at the $1.47 price and still shows that when in my cart too. i didnt figure i'd magically get a freebie...just found it odd...

Couldn't help myself, found one of these today for 1/2 sale price. Used my $10 in points from the spend $40 promo, and some other random points which put right at $150 before tax which seems pretty good. The open one had a bunch of dents but they had one still mint in box so I got that one. Don't really need another box but that's the story of this forum. Metal is really thick and USA made so I don't think I overspent, but I think other Sears may have it marked down lower. Planning to call around and take it there to price adjust if that's the case. I was looking for any deal under $10, which seems getting harder to do. Found these three, maybe not the best deal/lowest price ever, but thought this may help others:

Craftsman Mega Mag Magnetic Pick Up Tool $9.99 (Pic shows CF Professional, but is it really the Pro version?)
https://www.sears.com/craftsman-mega-mag-magnetic-pick-up-tool/p-00946947000P

Craftsman 4 pc. 3/8" Extension Bar Set $9.99 (I think I have seen this for $8?)
https://www.sears.com/craftsman-4-pc-3-8-in-dr-extension-bar/p-A011360537

Craftsman Magnetic Tray, Stainless Steel $9.99. Magnet is very strong on mine, and I love the oversized tray. I can throw small items (bolts, sockets) into it and it sticks!
https://www.sears.com/craftsman-magnetic-tray-stainless-steel/p-00941329000P

I end up buying the pick up tool since mine is not as long as this one, otherwise I would get another magnetic tray.

EDIT:
This is back down to $17.99.

Craftsman 2-PC IMPACT SCREWDRIVER SET

https://www.sears.com/craftsman-2-pc-impact-screwdriver-set/p-00986616000P

This impact screwdriver set is a good price.

RetailMeNot has a $10 off $100 coupon, which can be used with the 100% cashback items

Craftsman 8 Amp Impact Wrench $100 - $10 = $90

Someone on SD figured out that other than "a single transaction", there is no limit on your 100%-back purchases... so if any of you happen to want multiple participating tools, buy them all in 1 transaction, and everything you spend OOP pre-tax on them will come back to you over the next month as points to spend on more stuff.

The handle no longer says "Professional", but it looks otherwise identical. I think Craftsman just dropped the Pro branding when they did away with it everywhere else, but kept the same manufacturer/specs. I have (bought in the last couple months) the regular-length (still longer than many competing products) Mega Mag tool you linked, the Extra-Long version (even longer!), and the rectangular telescoping mirror, and they are all still 'made in USA'. :) A review on the mirror indicates it's probably made by Proto (edit: or not... still seems like good quality though).

I doubt it's made by Proto. More likely Ullman. I just picked up an Ullman lighted magnetic pickup tool and it's identical to my Craftsman one, so it would make sense for the mirror to come from the same supplier.

34.99 Craftsman Men's Hooded Duck Canvas Jacket

Tempted; but then again a walls blizzard pruf may be a warmer better made coat.

There's always something better out there, just a matter of how much one wants to pay. ;) ~$1000 Canada Goose coats have been all over the news lately. :eek2: Not on the same level, of course, but I have heard the Craftsman jackets are good for what they are, especially if you have points to spend.

I own 3 carhartt jackets. Craftsman duck hooded jacket is just as good pockets are fleece lined too which keeps your hands warm vs carhartt which is not.

I ordered six of the magnetic panels and they were supposed to be at my local Sears store yesterday...so far nothing..still shows as processing for pick up, sort of reminds me of the cap ended USA pry bars that never showed up.

Well right after I posted the above, Sears sent an email saying my order was in and ready for pick up. But alas, the guy at Sears couldn't find them anywhere. We went out on the floor and found 3, so he gave me those and refunded for the 3 I didn't get. Of course a simple refund was out of the question...we went through the rigamarole of pretending to return 3 to get the refund.

Another update, I had some points and so to pad out an order I was already making I added the USA pry bars with the caps. I fully expected to get the ones from India and have to return for refund on the spot...but no just like Hexen said earlier, they were the USA striking cap ones.

I also looked around the store and they had the magnetic tool panels only now instead of under $7 they were $19.99. I didn't get the three I missed earlier because it was great deal at $7 but not so great at $20.

I was in Lowe's the other day and they have the same panels except they are half the size and $26

I just order a set of the pry bars for pickup tomorrow for $25. I think they have been priced better in the past but I have points expiring and I couldn't find anything else I wanted and they were still $0 OOP for me so I'll update of USA or not once I get them tomorrow as well.
