Craftsman Magnetic Tray, Stainless Steel $9.99. Magnet is very strong on mine, and I love the oversized tray. I can throw small items (bolts, sockets) into it and it sticks!
https://www.sears.com/craftsman-magnetic-tray-stainless-steel/p-00941329000P

I end up buying the pick up tool since mine is not as long as this one, otherwise I would get another magnetic tray.

I had one of those. It only lasted 2 years of very light use. The glue that holds the magnets came off and the magnets crumbled when I tried scraping it off to re-glue. YMMV.

I'm hoping Lampert will remove all the newer shipping requirements, but the unsecured creditors still get to make their case this week for stopping his purchase of Sears Holdings.

Meanwhile, Sears hasn't been offering any good sale events lately. I never tried this item, but if anyone is looking to burn through some points.

Craftsman Project Calculator $11.99 (reg. $21.99)

In-store pickup only.

Nice sale on that, unfortunately it seems to have disappeared from many stores... only 1 of the ~10 in my 100-mile radius still admits to having it, and it's not the one that's actually near me. Can probably do similar stuff with a smartphone app but sometimes it would be nice to have physical buttons.

Another update, I had some points and so to pad out an order I was already making I added the USA pry bars with the caps. I fully expected to get the ones from India and have to return for refund on the spot...but no just like Hexen said earlier, they were the USA striking cap ones.
.

They did start making the pry bars in india, but only the ones WITHOUT the strike caps. All the strike cap pry bars are still the MADE in USA ones. I have been to several Sears since then and have seen both styles in hand and the Indian ones are NEVER strike capped

EDIT: also the Indian pry bars are on sale for $14.99 which isn't terrible for what they are

add 2 items to your cart...one sold by Sears and the other sold by Kmart. apply the coupon for $14 off total.
any of you guys have any advice how to get this to work? ive tried a few times before and it never works for me. ive got 1 kmart and 1 sears item in all 3 carts--sears/kmart/syw and kmart/syw only offer 1 $7 off and the sears cart doesnt even give that, it just says "Online only. Extra 10% off regular priced home items sold by Kmart. Reflected in price shown. -$1.00" every time i put the coupon code in.

Works for me... the problem is finding things sold by Kmart, that can still be picked up at a Sears store, that I haven't already bought, that would be useful for me. ;) Time-consuming PITA to find stuff, but can't resist trying...

You need 1 item "sold by Sears" and 1 item "sold by Kmart". Both must be eligible for coupon use (not Great Price, etc). If you pick something it doesn't work on, try something else.

Got it! Now the hard part is trying to find something without spending OOP :bounce:
It works on store specific clearance so the options are really dependent on physically checking your Sears store. I've noticed a variety of markdown schedules right now that changes completely store to store. Fill a cart and take to the price checker. "General" tool brand stuff is a good way to start.

Today's finds:
Skil Drill and Drive Set $9.97 clearance, $7 coupon was accepted.

General pipe cutter (didn't come up in system, manager did $1.99)

3/8 Evolv Ratchet $4.47 (really nice low back drag ratchet)

JB Weld Plastic Adhesive $1.47

Best deal for me of the day:
Craftsman Duck Jacket, originally $69.99 sale $14.99 in store only price.

I own 3 carhartt jackets. Craftsman duck hooded jacket is just as good pockets are fleece lined too which keeps your hands warm vs carhartt which is not.

I bought one, funny enough my local sears has one in stock, so it's ready for pickup. I'll try it on and see how I like it. Also got an exta $10 in free cash once I bought it

Let us know if you're successful with this... The last texting offer, one of the in-store-only coupons in December, the system restricted usage to one of each coupon type per account. So I'm curious if that's still in effect or not.

Okay, good to know. Party's over. ;)

I found there is a cheap fleece hoodie for young kids available as "sold by Kmart" that can be shipped to Sears stores, if anyone wants it for a double-dip:

Guys, my snow coupon is valid til 6 February.

Edit I thought this was the SYW thread.

As I replied in the other thread:

From SD discussion, looks like the coupon did actually stop working as originally scheduled last night, and now the end date has changed in the coupon's webpage, but the coupon is not yet actually working again.

Never made it out to the store yesterday. Tried it earlier on Sears.com today, and it still works for me.

Maybe it's hit or miss depending on the member.

Some reports are now coming in that it is working again, yes.

Still once per account.

Thanks! Thought I had missed the window after my post SB nap.

- edit - the screwdrivers and inflator have gone doubled in price.

For anyone still sitting on an unused $7 'SNOW' texting coupon, the usability keeps changing... they were coming up as no longer valid at all again for several hours earlier today, but then this afternoon they changed again to being valid in-store only (supposedly, but don't drive far to use it or you may be sorely disappointed).

Don't know about other stores, but the nearest one lost most of their clearance prices again.

Even the Windex wipers are back at full regular price. Oh, I'm sure that will help sell the remaining unwanted sizes.

Anyone buy the new Craftsman 20V power tools (Sears version, not SBD)? I didn't think there would be more due to the bankruptcy, but the local store had a circular saw and reciprocating saw. Don't see them on the website yet.

Haven't used them but my store has a big combo pack with those new tools in there.

WHAT?!

Thank you for the information. I was at a Sears Hometown today, and I saw the normal drill and impact. They didn't have any other 20V MAX tools.

I am not against the new 20V MAX tools and batteries. The batteries will last for 3 years or so, and it's not like the tools are super expensive, so possibly having to buy new tools or batteries down the road won't hurt my feelings. I am just using them rarely, not all day every day.

And for anybody who already did the SNOW text earlier this week, it's not being treated as a new round of the offer, still won't let you use it a second time on the same account (and reportedly won't even send you a new barcode number if you text again on the same phone).
