Lucky! I have been playing those game and I have only a measly $1.50 in points from the last year of playing!
Sounds like a decent item from the one review, so it might be good for a kitchen drawer or something.

did anyone get a text saying $10 surprise points for when you spend $10? I don't see it on my account through the website.
Score! I had an unexpected windfall in the games this evening and was able to order some Knipex after all.I ended up getting the angled mini bolt cutters, price-matched to Home Depot's $49 price via chat, for about $6 OOP.
I was torn between that and the 7" comfort grip pliers wrench, which is currently about the same price as the mini bolt cutter on HD. The Amazon price history (which is usually very similar to HD's prices for these) via camelcamelcamel showed that the mini bolt cutter is at a seldom-seen all-time low, while the pliers wrench drops lower fairly often; and I do already have the 6" (and 5") pliers wrench but only a full-size (folding) bolt cutter, so I decided the mini bolt cutters would provide more varied use cases, especially with the angled head. The 10" pliers wrench might have been more tempting, being a bigger size difference from what I already have, but that's one that Sears doesn't carry currently.
PS: Same as someone else experienced on a different Knipex item earlier this week, right after I ordered it, it became unavailable for further orders. It seems like they are only willing to sell one of each at a time, we'll have to see how long it takes for availability to reset; I'm guessing however long it takes for Sears to pay Knipex (keeping Sears on a very short leash).
Turns out they are a tool distributor for several brands including Knipex and Grip-On. I thought last year's Knipex items I got were shipped straight from Knipex, except for one that a few Sears stores used to carry, but maybe I'm misremembering. I found "Anglo American Enterprises Corp" did have a small claim in the bankruptcy docket, so obviously they're not brand-new to Sears.just got the text too. and here i just placed an order a few hours ago once i reached my goal for my next purchase. ahh well...not enough to cancel and reorder over, im sure.

that only works after the item has been shipped/picked up. best case they'll say 'oh, we'll put a note on your account and you can contact us again afterwards' but again, not worth the effort for 5%You can always price-protect with chat, unless you used a coupon.![]()
I don't have a Kmart nearby, but thought this might be a good deal.
Possibly manufactured by Dickies?

Most of the time that stuff is junk. I had a few for gifts once, only kept the spatula.
or in my case, it will go into my Knipex fund. If you ordered Knipex lately and Sears hasn't OOS the item, there are some decent price adjustments to be had with this latest sale. I got enough back off the wire cutters alone to get the thermometer and grilling kit above free with points. Thanks for posting those above links!
Was in the store in Hurst Texas a couple months ago. Has like five socket store display that came from other area store closings. Prices were ridiculously high on most everything. Walking thru the clothing department looked like a Goodwill Store. Don’t know why any Sears stores stay open. There is no saving them.
Yeah I've been about 50/50 on Knipex matching with HD and having Sears actually have a lower price. Got lucky and those that Sears was cheaper on they still had in stock and the price went even lower.Mine's still OOS but I probably wouldn't have been able to get anything back since I'd already gotten a big discount by PMing the Home Depot website. Good to check, though!
