Craftsman 50-pack 9" x 11" Sandpaper with Portfolio
https://www.sears.com/craftsman-9-x-11-in-sandpaper-50-pk/p-00922893000P
$3.94 sale, $19.99 regularly

This is a smokin' deal for 50 sheets of sandpaper plus the organizer, if you live near one of the few stores that still has it in stock. (I see one Hometown store in Louisiana in my results.) I think I got it for about $10 several years ago, on sale half-off. Yeah, it's not 3M, but I've still been getting plenty of use out of the sandpaper it comes with, and added some other random sheets I had sitting around. The organizer is holding up fine, though I'm not rough with it. If it was still in all the stores, I'd get another one for a gift at this price for sure.

These used to be made in the US by Wilde, I think. They disappeared from the stores a couple years ago, and after months of waiting, we thought they were gone for good. I decided I wanted one bad enough that I bought the Wilde version from Amazon. So of course now they've reappeared. (In stock in stores and available for shipping.) I think they might have moved production overseas when they came back, but if you don't already have a US one, it's definitely worth this price! Useful for many small gripping needs.

These definitely weren't part of the blowout till now; I'd checked when it started since I just bought the 3/8" one for $16.19 in mid-August and was hoping for a price protection opportunity, but they were both full-price when the blowout started last month.

Craftsman 3/8-in. Dr. Beam Style Torque Wrench, 0-75 ft. lbs.
https://www.sears.com/craftsman-3-8-in-dr-beam-style-torque-wrench/p-00932999000P
$13.94 blowout sale, $25.99 'regularly' now (the regular price was $22.99 just 2 months ago)

Craftsman 1/2-in. Dr. Beam Style Torque Wrench, 0-150 ft. lbs.
https://www.sears.com/craftsman-1-2-in-dr-beam-style-torque-wrench/p-00903300000P
$12.94 blowout sale, $30.99 regularly (I hadn't seen it on sale below $19.99 before)

The 3/8" one is a little harder to find, I had to have mine shipped to home via PS when I bought it, but the 1/2" one is better-stocked.

I've been looking through this stuff all afternoon trying to decide what to buy that my store hasn't already run out of for what might be the final day of the sale, and I think going with the 1/2" to match my 3/8" makes the most sense, plus something cheap to get over $15 for a $5 off $15. Too bad Craftsman doesn't have a 1/4" beam torque wrench to go with them too.

I have a remarkably-nice 'clicker' 1/2" torque wrench from Harbor Freight, but the beam ones can be good to have in some situations too.

I went in-store this evening and bought the torque wrench, and a $2.94 tack puller. Big surprise is, for the sale items that have sale price tags up in my store (they never bother to do all of them), the updated dates in the tags' fine print says 10/13-11/16! Whoooole lot of empty pegs, though. If they don't get some serious restocking in soon, there won't be anything left to buy by then.

PS: Also, in-store signs confirm that this offer I posted early this morning is running in-store too for the same dates as online should be:
"Members get $50 CASHBACK in points total in 2 installments when you spend $100+ at Sears. 1st set issued next day, then [2nd installment] 15 days after. Pts valid for 14 days. Max 1 per day. Offer valid 10/13-11/16."

Glad you got one in time. I still see the compressor available for ship-to-store pickup in my area - "Buy now, Pick up Mon, Oct 28" - it's only home shipping that's sold out so far. So people with a local store may still be able to order, and I don't think you'll have to worry about cancellation.

Hmm...

Even before you shared the compressor deal here, it wasn't showing any store pickup or shipping options for me. I assumed it was out of stock, but now I'm wondering if the customer has to live near the location of the compressors. :headscrat

Looks like someone has been busy transferring the deals we shared here onto Slickdeals, so there's going to be even more empty pegs. :p123

If anyone wants these deals, you're now in a race against that big crowd.

I never bought this China version, but the metal seemed thicker than the older USA version.

I can't find this on the Sears website, but the in-store price is $1.94 (regular Sears store).

Craftsman 034 82331 Multimeter Case, Vinyl (Sears Hardware link)

Specs on the package say 4 x 9 x 2-in.

Looks like the blowout really is still running! It's now 5am on 10/14 and yesterday's prices are still holding.

If you don’t already own these they are basically indispensable on any modern FWD V6 car. I’ve never not used them changing a timing/serpentine etc. Paired up with some XL zero offset wrenches and there are few bolts you can’t get to. The Sears version has dual detents so they do a better job of staying on the wrench than the HF. I’ve never seen them this cheap.

That is a great price ($5.94 blowout sale, $12.99 regularly), I don't think I've seen the socket caps on sale at all other than the occasional storewide 5%/10%/15% off.

Personally I decided on the HF version last year, just because the wrench sizes they need are clearly labeled, while the Sears version has an unlabeled odd mix of sizes (reviewers say 1/2" needs 11/16", 3/8" needs 14mm, and 1/4" needs 3/8"). Other than that one caveat, they seem fine. :) Oh, and apparently Sears has been getting these from China since 2013, FWIW.

(Oct 11) Friday's $10-back-on-$10 categories are jewelry for Sears, and board games for Kmart. Looks like they are going in the order in which they are listed in the fine print Doohickey posted:

Kmart = (10th) footwear, (11th) board games, (12th) stationary, (13th) licensed apparel ["team gear"], (14th) candy, (15th?) underwear, (16th?) Jaclyn Smith apparel, (17th?) snacks, (17th?) beverages, (18th?) household supplies, and (19th) health & beauty.

Sears = (10th) work boots, (11th) fine & boxed jewelry, (12th) athletic footwear & apparel, (12th?) fitness, (13th) licensed apparel ["team gear"], (14th) camping, (14th?) Outdoor Life men’s apparel, (15th?) pajamas, (15th?) intimates, (16th?) Jaclyn Smith apparel, (17th?) denim, (18th?) tools, (19th?) dishes, and (19th) cooking.

Too bad they won't be getting around to tools until after the blowout sale ends, unless it gets extended another week. (Update: It did - for a whole other month!)

Reminder that the $10-back-on-$10 thing is still going on, and today is candy day at Kmart if any of you still have a nearby Kmart and need Halloween candy. Other commonly-used food/household stuff should be coming up at Kmart on the 17th, 18th, and 19th too.

Sears will most likely be doing it on tools on the 18th.

Any idea where in the tool department these are usually located?

I was looking at the ratchets and adapters area yesterday, but couldn't even find an empty hook for it.

Thanks.

It's not available for pick-up in my area, and shipping is crazy expensive, as is Ebay. Any alternative brands?

Yeah I have both versions. Harbor freight is good for some jobs but the dual detent on the Sears makes all the difference working in limited space. I found the harbor freight ones kept slipping off unless I put a scrap of paper towel in there to hold them.

I also like the fact that they are all SAE (mine fits 11/16, 9/16, 3/8) so that way I can leave them on my SAE wrenches basically full time and not worry about having to take them on and off my metric set that I need for a different part of the job.

One of the very few China tools at Sears that at this price I’d buy them cash if need be.

I love these socket cap set and XL zero offset wrenches. I do not use them often but there are time when nothing else works

When I looked at them at my Sears last year, IIRC they were in a small clear pouch on a peg on the same aisle-segment as where I got my beam torque wrench yesterday. Currently my store is out of the socket cap sets, but I presume the spot for them would still be there.

Thanks.

If you can come up with at least $10 in stuff you want by combining with some other sale item, you can ask Sears chat or the SYW Personal Shopper app to waive the shipping. Alternative brands would be Harbor Freight's set for $3.99 -20%, or KD/Gearwrench's KDT3435 set which seems to be getting hard to find at any price.

For anybody who didn't pick up one of the last US-made auto-dept-version of the Craftsman oil filter pliers when they were clearing those out around $14-$16 a few months ago, the tools-dept-version (not sure if it's from Taiwan or China, but it still gets great reviews) is on sale half-off:

Craftsman ADJUSTABLE OIL FILTER WRENCH PLIERS
https://www.sears.com/craftsman-adjustable-oil-filter-wrench-pliers/p-00949284000P
$9.94 blowout sale, $19.99 regularly
Available for home shipping or ship-to-store pickup in ~2 weeks, at least in my area.

hmm oct 18-19th the belt tensioner tool will be $3 after $10 off $10? or do you think they will raise the price or knock it out of stock.

Well, that's not exactly how it works. It will be $13 and then you get $10 to spend on Oct 20. I'm up to $30 cashback coming on Oct 20, so I'll spend it on something higher priced. Today is a bust, but I'll spend another $10 on whatever day is tool day.

Does anyone know if they are actually shipping out the USA made version of the 3 piece set with the strike caps when you purchase the set in the link below?

https://www.sears.com/craftsman-3-pc-pry-bar-set/p-00943395000P

I remember a while back there were reports of people ordering the set in the link above, which has a picture of the USA made set with the strike caps but they ended up receiving the crappy made in India version without the strike caps.

That has certainly never been a widespread issue, many people ordered the strike cap version with no problem. There are one-off unauthorized substitutions made by random store back-room people sometimes. IF that were to happen to you, just contact customer service and they'll re-ship you the correct set.

thanks for letting me know!!!

I haven't been on this thread much over the past several months. Is free shipping $35 OOP or can you, for example, use $25 points on a $35 product to bring the total down to $10 and still get free shipping?

Has someone posted a guide on this thread for what exactly you need to say in the Personal Shopper App to get free shipping?

I think I said I want "free shipping" on my first order just to be sure, but do not do that anymore.

I usually just copy paste the item# and ask her to order when she has a moment and she understand what need to be done. I think they all should know that is the only reason we order thru PS, otherwise ordering from Sears website is a lot faster/easier.

I got this 1/4" drive Craftsman Mach Series 17 pc. T-Handle Driver and Bit Set a few years ago, and the quality is great. I don't use it much, but when I do, it's quite nice.

On Hot Buy for $8.94. No longer available for shipping to my zip codes, but is showing available for store pickup by me and in cities I travel to:

https://www.sears.com/craftsman-17-piece-mach-t-handle-driver/p-00948025000P

Great deal, going for around $40 on amazon. No shipping available, and the only Sears around me closed like a year ago.. Thats unfortunate lol
