He means finished as in painted. Not really complete. That's a myth from the depths of hell.
Happy 18!

What's new Shorty?
I see Gerard is dropping popcorn on your shop floor too!
Time we put him to work![]()

While I strive for outrageous statements, and enjoy sarcasm as much as anyone, you have just gone too far.![]()

Jim, you've got that right! I insulated my garage so I could cool it but I never considered heat. The first few days of lows in the 40s and my garage dropped from 82*F to 78*F but after a week it's down to 70. As I walked the hundred feet to the shop, I thought it might be time for some shoes and maybe even SOCKS.All it takes is a 40 degree heat wave to make the Florida crowd frisky.![]()

The shop is also insulated and air conditioned but it doesn't hold heat as well as the garage. On the other hand, I have a heater for the shop...

Hello Shorty, you been to the shop?
Whats new? Get anything good?
Slacker.![]()

My primarily focus lately has been on making floor space. Having my old bench gone as helped a lot. I didn't sell the big metal AV cart at the swap meet so I decided the casters are worth the $15 I paid and the sheetmetal can be used for another project. Out came the cutoff tool. Getting the work bench, the two AV carts, and service cart out of the shop has freed up 38 sq. ft. Not a lot but every foot counts.![]()
Shorty, I totally agree that every foot counts, in my case its every inch.
Most of my benches are mobile and that makes a huge difference..
Have a good one.![]()
I like everything on wheels too. I'm about 85% there.

If they were all the same, I could have swapped out no problem. Hey look the building across the street is for lease...more garage space?
Ok, some background on the Toyota picture. The year was 2005, the place is Laconia, NH. A friend and I were coming from Canada on our bikes and were sitting in hot, standstill traffic outside of Laconia. After about 30 minutes, we were finally getting close to the intersection to make our turn. Oh, what is that? Um, where's the camera? Wait, I think my gas tank is running on fumes and I need a Dr. Pepper.![]()

Here's more.. she is mine.
Here we are back at home and in the barn. Life is good at the end of the rainbow
