I installed my first lift in the Asylum this spring but forgot to post in this thread. It's a Bendpak HD-9XW in black.

Parts all laid out ready to go together:

Custom twin reservoir air bottle system so I don't need to hook up to shop air to release the locks:

Very nice. I have a HD9-STX and was thinking about the air bottle system. It seems expensive for what it does. Is yours from BP?

Thanks Jimmie Jam. I waited waaaaaay too long for this lift. Hopefully you are enjoying yours too.

I expanded on what BP offers and built the air system myself. This link should drop you in my build thread where I explain it all:
AIR BOTTLE DETAILS - Asylum Reply #2646

If you don't have time to jump over there, this should give you a quick overview:

(And yes, I probably overdid it a bit, but I have a tendency to do that sometimes :))

A couple of pics of the day my BendPak HD-9 got installed. Many measurements, drawings, layouts and calculations of will it fit, or will it hit... the truck squeezed through just fine and tucks into the vaulted ceiling with inches to spare!

Silverplate: What's your ceiling height? Did you remove ceiling dry-wall? Looks awesome! Someday, someday....

I have 4 working lifts in and around my shop
The first one is more like a work bench that is adjustable

The 2nd one is for project storage as well as undercarriage work

The 3rd one is a light pull frame machine that I use for a work bench and a mid lift for doing body work, It will raise 7' in the air

The 4th is my dirty lift for preasure washing / changing engines and the like

Some very nice__working__shops!

Now with just two (2) 2-post lifts, I feel so inadequate; must be lift-envy ;)

I am wondering how you center the car on that thing? Even if there is clearance for the car pictured after the junk behind it is removed. That is a bad install with serious restrictions vehicle wise forget trucks go karts will not be a problem:lol_hitti

My mid-raise 6,000lb Atlas. I do more paint and body than mechanical so this type of lift is way better for my application.

Plus I can use it as a frame table
