I wish I didn't have a douchebag of a dealer. I can't buy the lockers from the guy I use because I'm out of his territory. And I refuse to buy from the guy we have lol

I've got to agree. A lot of the Snap-On colors are really nice but for me, Cranberry is kind-of a Snap-On exclusive that screams professional tools to me.

But now Snap-On has discontinued the color. :(

My dealer is okay, but meeting up with the R & R truck dealer last year was a giant waste of time. He was an absolute ******* to everyone and was essentially pushing 5% under list price for everything. Zero deals, no offered options. Useless idiot.

I told my dealer to not even bother telling me next time he came around, because there was no way I would ever buy something through him, I'd just haggle the best price I could manage through my dealer.

R@R truck cannot do any better on price than what your dealer says, route owner has final say on price, the only thing the R@R truck can do that a dealer normally cant is waive the custom drawer charge and clear coat paint up charge

So I am a bit mad, my driver says snap on won't modify the carts, but only the roll cabs.

I am back to the drawing board.

I was gonna order a kemw361 baby epiq last fall, and they told my dealer the same thing. I figured they could at least remove a 4" drawer and install two 2" drawers since the sidekiq has that configuration, but they said no. I then tried to order one without the slot/ dot panel and without the stainless top. They said no to that as well. Didn't understand that one. Just don't install them and charge me less ?? seems simple to me

I thought that was (well one of them) the reason for paying this kind of money. Being able to get a configuration that you prefer within the confines of the design and available components? Guess not eh.

Are the drawers to the baby epiq the same as the smaller drawers in the full size ones? If so I may still be able to make things work, it would just involve swapping some things around.

Sharp! Whole lot of awesome right there. I like that about as much as the gunmetal colored setup another member has.

They are not interchangeable. Remember last year i was on the Rock N Roll and wanted the 84" epiq? Well i also wanted a cart with skinny drawers and it was possible on both the 2 variants of the carts. Both of the carts start life as the same chassis, the difference are the wheels, drawer size, and the top section.

So the drawers in the KEMW361A1 series are totally unique or are they the same as another cart? I am in learning mode now, the website has no dimensions on the drawers.

Snap On's website *****. So I guess the only way for this to work would be to know if any of my 84" epiq drawers would fit in the KEMW "Baby epiq", if so, I could order it in flat blue with titanium trim and swap some drawers around. That wouldn't bug me too much.

Does the unpowered locker have grommets in the back for leading power in?
How many areas besides the drawer has power on the power locker? Top? Middle? Etc.

I guess yesterday was a no comprende day for me, I get it now. I was reading one post wrong. So if I want to do what I want, it is going to cost me some bucks. The funny part is I do like the full size epiq cart, just not right now. I need something that has a lower surface to work on, might have to make a couple new tables instead.

does anyone with a 3 full width drawer epiq have a problem with the 2nd and 3rd drawers hitting each other when they are both open, i notice it mostly if i have the third drawer open and then open the one above it, it will hit on opening and closing. my dealer has changed the slides on both and no change, they are trying to say it is normal but i dont think it is. i could never add the drawer guards as that would add some thickness

I have one coming, keep us posted on what your finding out. I plan on putting gaurds on mine. That would be disappointing, that's a lot of money to spend for drawers to be rubbing on each other.

I noticed a drawer drag on / touch another one when I had 2 large drawers open to full extension while shifting / reorganizing some tools around recently. The top drawer was a single slide 2" heavily laden with dense tools. I also thought "WTF?" for a second and then realized that, even with all things being built /assembled correctly, there's enough flex / sag for this to happen at full extension of the slides....I'm sure the tool truck haters will say this proves SO is not worth buying over their favorite tin tool box brand, but I say any drawers constructed / laid out like this, at 30" extension, with as heavy a mass of tools in it, would do the same thing....besides, they warn ya not to open more than one drawer at a time to avoid the possibility of tipping (which I have actually seen happen on an older tall / skinny stack).....

Oh you've got plenty of room strouty.

I moved all my big sockets to the back instead of the front and it seemed to help
