Does anyone know how much a new drawer for the epiq locker cost and does anyone have a part number?

What's a used 1022 worth 3500-4500 bucks? 5 grand difference is a very good deal in my opinion.

I dont know what he could sell it for but hes giving me $5000 on trade for it and I paid $4200 for it like 3-4 years ago.

for those that have a triple bank epiq are you happy with the drawers or would you do wider ones next time ? those with a double bank do u like the wide drawers , no regrets on opening and closing them all day ? thanks

Did you read the thread yet? I thought there was a bunch of discussion on this. I think someone even did a photoshop job.

My box is probably the closest you will get to a photoshopped version with two inch drawers. If I had the option, I would have gone double bank, I never have enough room in the middle drawers.

got my 68" sold, gonna order a 84", got lots of choices to make, color, trim, worksurface, drawer configuration, and most of all, triple bank, triple bank with three full width drawers, or double bank, any opinions or thoughts? thanks

IMO, the more wider drawers, the better. Also, I'd trade a couple of wide 2" deep drawers for an extra 4" deep one since tools that need the wide width also are more likely to be more than you put in the 2" depth...off course a lot of this depends on your work / tool needs.

2" drawers work well for screwdrivers, nutdrivers, and prybars, but I need 4" for hammers, pliers, and other things. The only drawer in my opinion that needs to be taller than 4" is the socket drawer. I think that storing bulky tools in a regular toolbox is a waste of space, so get a locker or other means to store them. If I could change things with my box it would be the double bank and maybe I would get one more 4" drawer, but overall it fits what I need and I like it.

I have a 68" double bank and like the size of drawers, but when you go to a triple bank 84" the center bank is 8" narrower, don't really won't the smaller center drawers , so that's why thinking double bank. If I could photo shop it I would do 5, 3, 2, 2, 2, 4 ,4, and 6 on wide bank , and narrow would be 4,2,2,2,2,2,4, and 10.

Posting these for lugnut71. The double bank Sapphire blue with bright trim and stainless top is his current box. The 84" with Titanium trim was on the R&R truck the other day.33d4f1e354de3d2b33d5cfdabcb38e0c.jpg70528a2c3b26de30086398bd51952333.jpg

I am going to pull the trigger on a 84" Epiq with hutch. I got a very good offer off the Rock and Roll truck. Now I am trying to decide on a color combo. Originally I was thinking gloss black with the blue trim. Now I am playing around with either the Candy Apple Red with Titanium trim or Midnight Blue with Black trim. Help me pick a color, lol.

The Candy Apple with the Titanium trim looks pretty awesome. A nice but subtle departure from the classic red with bright trim.

Ended up ordering Gloss Black with Red trim. I can't wait to get it. Sounds like 3 weeks. Details are 84" Epiq with 3 wide drawers, stainless powertop, and 84" riser. I traded in my KRL1022.

Just curious what they gave you on your 1022?

Cool story..

Waiting 5 weeks for my 84" gunmetal/titanium to come in. Today was the day. Unloaded it off the freight truck and BOOM! Wrong f'in drawer config. Was supposed to be 3 bank w/ 3 wide top drawers. The one they shipped was double bank 84". Dealer is working it out now however. Here comes another 6 week wait time!

Have you considered the double bank ? I went back and forth for weeks and I ended up choosing the double bank version. You lose 4.75" between the banks, divide that by how many drawers and you basically are gaining another drawer going with the double version. Got pics ?

My other thought was that I have a 68" epiq now, so by going with a triple 84" all my wide bank drawers were going to be 8" narrower, and I didn't want smaller drawers than I have. the top three are what your common tools are in and the ones you use the most , and if your used to opening those all day why not have the wide ones below, they get used a lot less.
