I think it's law that every garage should have a 520 Kennedy and a tombstone welder![]()
Here my Kennedy Kits 520 that I got from my Grandfather. I never seen another one with these round pulls.

I love the looks of those too. You can bet they are built to last.. I especially like that old logo .. I've got a couple of my boxes with it.
I've pestered Kennedy before about coming up with decals, etc. for promotions but to no avail.. They had their 100 year anniversary in 2011 and I was hoping to see some coffee mugs or other celebration items.. ..
They do have a new website and are marking some pink tool boxes currently... salty though..
I was fortunate enough to pick this up a few months ago, part of an estate sale, along with a bunch of other great tools.
The gentleman had been a machinist for GE & Grumman back in the day, there were books and tools labeled as such.
$50, and there were quite a few nice tools in there, including a ton of end mills and lathe bits.
Techie1961,
Where did the green felt lining come from? Is that an old trademark of them as I do not see it for sale on their webpage?

Just got this one over the weekend. $20
Looking for a handle for the bottom drawer. Anyone have a spare?

Looks like one fox and one raccoon going to work in their bib overalls carrying Kennedy's. I just submitted that question to the Kennedy website.. we'll see if they know..

Can you just knock loose the two links connecting the tray to the top, fold the trays back in and then work on the top?

Yes. That would be easier than taking the hinge apart. I suppose I was over thinking it.![]()
