This one is a nice one I got from a CL buy:

Its a "Wakefield Cycle Wrench" Woroester Mass. (on one side), and
"Cleaveland Cycles; The Lozier Mfg. Co, Toledo Ohio." and "Pat. Apl'd For" On the other side.

A schizophrenic wrench?

Cleavleand and Toledo Ohio, and Woroester Mass :headscrat

Outlaw, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that your bicycle wrench was made by Wakefield for Lozier:

@BFBOB, yes, and?

Don't tell me you don't get your own joke!?
Ohms are the units of measurement of resistance.

RESISTANCE IS FUTILE

I just want to know how you got the meter to display that, or is it photoshopped?

@Schurkey, whats with copywriting your pics?
I've caught folks using my photos for their own purposes, sometimes even cropping the "copyright" info from them. It's easier to get webmasters to remove the photos when I can show authorship/ownership. I tend to mark all my posted photos, even when it seems unlikely that they could be used for nefarious purposes.

4" through 18" Diamond Calk Horse Shoe Duluth, Minn U.S.A on the left and 4" through 24" Diamalloy Diamond Tool & Horseshoe Co. on the right. In the middle are 6" through 12" Diamond "Wide Opening" wrenches.

These are all from the first series of wrenches the Diamond Calk Horse Shoe Company made in the early 20's.

Everyone has "the one" and this is it for me. The first Diamond wrench I bought on a whim because I wanted an 18" and it started the frenzy. Absolutely beautiful wrench with amazing detail for being almost 100 years old.

I spotted 2 other 24's in this thread and I also have one

Close up of the double's. I'd like to find the 8"-10" and a 6"-8" to finish out the old set. If a newer one comes my way I'll see I guess. I got a pretty good deal on the 8"-10" with a hole and the other 4"-6".

These are the daily users. Mostly older Crescent with an Omega and a C'man in there too.

Little family of Crescents all lined up and purrdy.
32984438872_c9a2972dca_b.jpg

Ok let's see, there's a 6" Xcelite, 8" & 10" Proto's, 10" Omega and a 10" C'Man.

Just picked up a 12" Diamalloy Special Thin Wide Opening wrench. Never seen a Special Thin before ...

Hey Jeff Great Thread! I found this thread while looking for info on a pair of Kleins I just picked up so I thought I would throw up some pic's of some but certainly not all that I have in the way of "adjustables" ! Some are out of my personal collection , some out of the tool box and some are just flip inventory. I just can't seem to walk past a good pair for a buck or two.
There are lots of different brands here, Snan-on, Proto, new and old Craftsman, Harrolds, Eifel, Wade, Wyeth, Westcott, Peck Stow & Wilcox, Blackhawk, Bemis & Call, Never-stall by Mathews , (Bahco & King ****... My only non USA made) Lighting wrench by Hampton mach and there may even be a few Crescent brand wrench's in there. :p I'm sure I'm missing a few others but those are what I can pull out of my head.

The last photo was the reason I found this thread. While not adjustable they are certainly different and I haven't been able to find any thing about them . I'll post more about them in a separate post and if they are too far off topic I'll certainly delete it.

Thanks & enjoy!

Here's more about those Klein's Jeff ... These have a date code on each handle! And each code is different :headscrat They have a square piece that has been added either factory or after I'm not sure. The bills are even different than most needle nose I have been able to find.

The square piece may be a kind of rest, they seem to sit on it pretty well. If you or any one else have any thoughts or info on these I would be grateful. I think these are cool and odd enough they are probably going into the collection even though there not old.

I added an extra grove to the one on the left so it would open a little wider.

What's weird is I have never actually purchased an adjustable wrench. They have all been either found on the road, or part of my granddad or dad's tools.

This is my set of curved handle Bemis & Call adjustables: 6,8,10,12 & 14 inches. The 14 inch wrench was hardest to find but finally turned up on Ebay.

This is what I have in my main toolbox. I have easily three times as many scattered around in other boxes and in my vehicles.

The bacho, code blue and Milwaukee are the tightest... the nepros *****...

Could you elaborate a little further on the Nepros? It's a beautiful wrench that seems to be well regarded. It did fail a strength comparison not too long ago. Are you saying the Nepros' jaws will not hold the same position and need to be constantly adjusted?

Sloppy... the crescent or bacho are much much tighter.

Well, thank you for saving me the money I would have spent on the Nepros. I'll just stick with my Bahco.

Just picked up this unique adjustable.
Other than the patent search, i could find NO info on this wrench.
It was patented in the mid 70's.
It has a two step design:
The inner notch (see first picture) is for torque.
The outer notch (second picture) is for "ratcheting".
Thus, the T and R in the name.
It worked very well in some brief testing, and i would consider it to be far from a gimmick.
An added benefit of this design is that when used in a vertical position, the wrench cannot slip off the bolt.
The orange coating is not factory. It has been dipped.
I am left wondering what happened to the company and why this quality product was short lived/limited production/such a rarity. :headscrat

Just in case anyone missed this in the garage sale thread.

I picked this little 6" up on Monday at the local flea market.

I found a Crescent wrench today at an estate sale. I have several more adjustable wrenches but I'll have to gather them up for a group photos.
