30" Blue Point. My uncle found it at a pawn shop and bought it to give to me.

Fixed pics hopefully...

What the heck?!? I didn't know anyone made a 30" adjustable!

BTW, your pix don't show because Photobucket changed their rules. Please upload directly to GJ so we can see it!

Wow that is a beast! Believe it or not, that would be useful where I work. How much does it weigh?

My Billings 21.
My brother gave it to me 20 years ago when he moved his pipe fitting business to another state. It is my go-to wrench for big jobs and doesn't seem to mind a 4 or 5 foot cheater pipe slide over it's handle.

No idea. I would have thought Bahco but that's just a guess.

Edit: the only thing that sits it apart from the Bahco of the same size (87) is the taper on the handle. The Bahco doesn't look to have the taper in the pics I see on Google.

I like the finish on the Channellock better than the rebranded Bluepoint version.

Im sure either yours or rockinacummins is a force to be reckoned with.

I definitely like the finish on the channelock better. If I were to buy one, that would be it.

The adjustment on the channelock looks very tight and precise.

I think it is tight as well... also the price wasn't that bad... I think 248 shipped... that was cheaper than a lot of brands out there....

Also picked up this 8" Wizard at a flea market a few weeks ago and got it working again. The guy had no clue what it was, $4. A tool vendor there told me its a wall hanger I'd NEVER get that going again....

thanks! I have seen them on ebay and such but never in person. I soaked it in white vinegar for three days and it came out of the bath bare metal. took a few hours to get it all freed up and the spring inside still works! Its about 100 years old I think.

I have a couple of fixed jaw Evans T&R wrenches. I picked them up because Evans is my name. Now I need to be on the lookout for an adjustable one.

Just picked up this unique adjustable.
Other than the patent search, i could find NO info on this wrench.
It was patented in the mid 70's.
It has a two step design:
The inner notch (see first picture) is for torque.
The outer notch (second picture) is for "ratcheting".
Thus, the T and R in the name.
It worked very well in some brief testing, and i would consider it to be far from a gimmick.
An added benefit of this design is that when used in a vertical position, the wrench cannot slip off the bolt.
The orange coating is not factory. It has been dipped.
I am left wondering what happened to the company and why this quality product was short lived/limited production/such a rarity. :headscrat
