Boy some of the drawers here are making my OCD go up the wall lol. I’ll try and post my work box and cart tomorrow we didn’t work today due to snow. And I went to Harbor Freight and got a bunch of stuff so new additions then pictures :bounce:

Sorry 'bout that Blake. Seeing it in pictures reminds me I'm overdue to reorganize and straighten up. Should have done it today, I literally had 4 cars.

State inspection/LOF on a brand new dodge.
Exhaust cam phaser for a 2.4 GM. Went without one of the special tools due to MLK day. Thanks USPS. But it's fixed.
Trans cooler lines on a rotten subbie. Dorman somehow didn't screw me on that one.
Serp belt on a newer tacoma.

Haha if it works for you man then that’s what counts. If you think your box is bad you haven’t seen two people in my shop there boxes make me want to run and hide haha. Hopefully my tools don’t get delayed they said they shipped today but no tracking info yet. Probably haven’t left the company yet probably just got the label created.

There are some nice drawers in here, keep them coming!

here are a few of my favorites:

I am in the process of converting my screwdriver drawer to red. A red carbide scraper is on order and I’m still hunting for an SPB24A or SPBS24 24” red Prybar. The newer style (SPBS24A) is too thick for the 2” tall extra wide drawer.

I made a toolbox tour video on YouTube a few weeks ago if anyone is interested in the rest.
That wrench drawer is stunning!

Most likely posted by others in the past, but posting in case it helps someone else organize. I use 10 ga wire rolled around a pipe and scraps of wire shelving to make tool organizers in my box.

This is no mechanic's box, more of a do-everything tool chest. My machinist tools are over by the mill so there are some omissions here due to that. My 1/2" drive tools and impact tools don't see much use (and won't fit in this tool chest) so they're also stored separately.

Rather disordered and incomplete measuring and layout drawer:
IMG_2912.jpg

Miscellaneous small parts drawer:
IMG_2913.jpg

Screwdriver drawer: (two magnets holding each screwdriver in place)
IMG_2914.jpg

Pliers drawer: (this one is not very space-efficient but I haven't found a better way to store them, so I've been keeping the most used pliers up front laid out neatly and the lesser used ones piled in the back)
IMG_2915.jpg

Ratchets and sockets drawer (1/4"+3/8" ratchets, 1/4" sockets, 1/4"+3/8" bit sockets, tap sockets, accessories)
IMG_2916.jpg

Wrenches drawer: (also including some random stuff like a tape measure, set of cheaper drills for hand-drilling, sawzall blades, etc)
IMG_2917.jpg

Bike tools drawer: (just a mess really, but very essential tools for me)
IMG_2918.jpg

Random tools leaning towards woodworking drawer: (the empty space is so I can retire the Narex chisel set and put in my homemade chisel set which is more extensive)
IMG_2919.jpg

Big things drawer: (my only deeper drawer in this chest so it has my 3/8" sockets, spark plug sockets, 1/2" flip sockets, torque wrench, multimeter, router bits, pin punches, etc.)

Man I have tried multiple times to get my wrench drawer this compact but never this good. This is where I'm at now, other than a set of metric flank drives and metric ratchet wrenches in my cart I have like 3 more sets in my main box I can't fit in it. I need to update pictures for my records anyway so I'll take more tomorrow for the thread.

Me too. I saw Afazz's wrench drawer - I'm trying to find a better way to do wrenches - I was using the SO Blow mold trays (the ones the wrenches come in), but they take up a lot of space...
Toolbox Widget helps alot. Print your own if you're into 3d printing.

I'm a polisher. There's a lot of new stuff that hasn't even been used yet. Cleaned out a spot in the wrench drawer for a new set coming. I've got 3 empty drawers im not sure what i want to use for yet. I've got a lot of stuff packed away for my upcoming move. Also have an overflow box that has excess stuff, seldom used SAE stuff, and other TMDE/Diag stuff.

LIking that color combo on that box, you have good taste, I'm on the verge of ordering a side locker for mine.

I'll contribute. This is just the main box. I've got more in my other boxes and blow molded cases under the bench.
I'm always buying tools and constantly having to re-organize things.

Broken record, I know, but hopefully I'll be able to pick up a bigger box with my tax return and consolidate things.
