Electrical diag/repair box. I keep the meters, scan tool, etc. in the house. It's over 120F in the garage during the summer. I don't like leaving sensitive electronics in that kinda heat. I also don't store tools with batteries in them if I can help it, especially in the summer.

I'm younger (34) but was raised into the auto industry by old guys working at my uncle's body shop doing restoration work on top of collision repair so my love for hot rods and customs grew deep, moved to auto mechanics about 10 years ago and when I saw the box I had to buy it. I also have a few rat fink banners that I haven't found a place for in the shop I'm at now.

Yep, it sure is. I wish the middle of the drawer was a little better, but I like the organization. I may try and fit a few more of the Schaller Corp bins in between the Snap-On trays and the Ernst organizer.

I am hesitant to post this, but, several years ago I purchased the all inclusive craftsman socket set…..it supposedly was every socket they made in a set. I know they are probably made in china, but it really is a complete set. I also ordered a pre-cut foam fit mat, made just for this set. I have used them for my home setup and they work fine for me. Now,

I know the hate for the cheap Chinese stuff, but I’m okay with it. I really like everything having a place, and I can tell immediately if my 10mm sockets are missing!
I also included a pic of another drawer of my older USA craftsman, Proto, Koken and other mongrel sockets for some self-verification!

No shame in showing your drawers. Everyone has their own needs. If it works for you then so be it. Everyone else can pound sand!

Everything is a mess right now as I had a project yesterday that got a bunch of stuff out that was already packed away. I'm slowly trying to figure out how I'm going to pack up a two car 24×30 for a move for work. The idea is that I'm packing everything as compactly as possible, to fit into a currently undetermined amount of space at our destination. Have to wait for visas before we look for a place, but I'm aiming for something with at least a slightly oversized single garage to start. Eventually once we know what we're doing I'll have a better idea of what stays with my parents, gets sold or goes with us.

Anyway, here's my current mess (pain in my OCD), comprised of a 20" Beach bench top box, 41" International SPG rollcab, 26" craftsman stack (3pc), and another 26" Powr-kraft topper. I've also got all my power tools in a couple of Rubbermaid totes prepped to go because I didn't figure I'd have a ton of time to get into any major projects. They normally hang out on my wall of power that I've posted before in various threads as it takes shape. I'll be dedicating some major time to 3D printing racks and organizers once we move. First up the Powr-kraft and the Beach box.

The craftsman 26" stack less one drawer that is just tape, string/twine, steel wool, o-rings, pins, set screws, etc. Most of which are in plastic organizers.

Did I mention I hate deep drawers? That last photo was just my attempt to try and put something in there that I won't hate. That drawer has held gloves, flashlights, rags, and more, but those have moved to an el cheapo sterilite drawer unit for the time being.

I used to get these SIMPLICITY cabinets for under $100. I bought three at one garage sale for $40 each. The seller did not have the cabinets out in the driveway with the other for sale stuff. . I often ask if there is anything else that might be for sale, and the seller said he had three metal cabinets for he would like to move along. This how some of the best deals happen.
Most of the Simplicity cabinets had 4 drawers. I have the only 5 drawer I have seen. I would not hesitate to buy more of these cabinets if and when they become available.
I have 7 left in my garage and 3 in the house, basement. These cabinets have high quality roller drawer slides. I have not seen one for sale in several years. At one time I hade a dozen of these cabinets.
These cabinets held Simplicity sewing patterns. There was a time, about 20+ years ago when Simplicity was replacing all of these cabinets with an "adjusted" design. I think the problem was all of the drawers could be opened at the same time and contributed to a tip-over-hazard.
I mention this just for fun. I am not a doll collector, but I know someone who is. I bought a very large collection of Barbie dolls for $500 without knowing the value. The lady seller was moving onto assisted living. She had been collecting Barbie since the first one became available. I more than doubled my investment and the person I sold it all to more than doubled what she paid me. I quess, what I am suggesting is, put yourself out there a little and have an adventure. There is life beyond tools and cars.

Added in the newest XL box wrenches today. Had to move a few things around. Also missing the torque adapters. I need to get another crowsfoot holder for them.

I wish I could fit the angle wrenches in here.
