Grabbed this guy at a garage sale a couple weeks ago. I was more interested in the contents (average but useful stuff). Only as I put it in the trunk did I notice the heritage logo.
It's a very nice undamaged box, complete with the inner tray.

Lucked into some Heritage goodness at the flea today. The Carry box should clean up well and the socket set is all (U) except for the ratchet. :rocker:

Just found out about this thread. These are a few of my heritage machines. Bandsaw mounted on a heritage chest and a table saw. You might be able to make out my 6x48 heritage belt sander in the background. For some reason I don't have a good picture of it.

What's the arrangement you have for that lower drill press table with the lateral sliding work table?

Here is a work in progress bluetooth shop stereo, it'll have a 6" subwoofer inside when I'm done, I'm waiting on parts. More pics in my projects thread.

Thanks Rick, I think I saw it on the Craftsman website first but they used a new box in the video.

More pics in my projects thread. If there's enough interest, I'd be happy to start a new thread on it.

BDG: i had one and gave it to another GJ member i know that LOVES CRAFTSMAN maybe more than i do. here's a Dunlap that could have maybe been the maker of yours or maybe the little wood bench i owned will give you some ideas on where or how to use yours. that little vise can hold a fair amount of weight for it's size too.

or Reed was making vises for Craftsman during the Heritage logo era so that might be the maker.

EDIT: I just looked a bit closer and saw your vice was MADE IN ENGLAND so maybe RECORD was the maker? NICE FIND!!

i've got a few Crowntop MADE IN ENGLAND tools, but can't recall seeing any with a Heritage logo so maybe somebody else has some to post or refer me back to a few pages of them?

I was thinking Record as well based on made in England and it having a number designation,I mounted it on a smaller bench near my toolbox just for odd things
its too small for my woodwork bench but still super cool.

I knew I shouldn't have clicked on this thread! Add some more to the "list" of must haves.

I have seen heritage logo woodworker vises before but the logo(s) were decals and not the metal tag variety. I think they were Columbian made like most of the old Craftsman wood vises, but could be mistaken.

Where the tag is located, the vise has a casting divit shaped lke the logo,so these were purpose built for craftsman.

Picked this up last week. My first and only Heritage badged Craftsman toolbox. At least so far. :) I plan on taking the paint off and repainting with Rustoleum Hammered Gray.

Does anyone know what paint comes closest to the original finish on one of these toolboxes?

Mike

PS I do have the tray as well just not pictured.

Lowly 3/8 drive socket set box. I use it for a mix n match set and never planned on doing anything else with it. A month ago I found the correct (I think) breaker bar with the cross bar hole in the side.
That makes me want to keep going and build the correct set.

This was one of the nicest heritage water-slide decals I've ever had.

That light is very nice ! I would love to find a crown top version to match my power bronze cman 150 model drill press ! I am also looking for 2 cman machine switch boxes !

Picked this up today. Took two trips... thankfully it wasn't too far.
I went having no idea it was all one piece. I don't think I have room for this thing so it will probably move on after I clean it up a little.

Only thing I didn't like was they screwed a light switch to the front of the saw. Plenty of other good spots for that.

Finally located a period-correct 1/2 - 9/16" wrench in good enough shape to complete this set; still looking for one in mint condition.

I've got a twin to that green box on the upper right. It's a cool vintage look with the corner protectors and wrinkle finish. Nice collection.

I started to degrease and clean up my heritage lower 3 drawer that I got 4 years ago at the Portland international swap meet for $15. It is somewhat rough but for the price I could not say no [emoji23] it has had its casters replaced at some point in time and it is missing a handle so I am hoping someone has one ? I believe it is made by pressteel based on how similar the corners are to my plomb and p&c toolmobiles. Anyone know an age and also maybe a catalog page ? It will never be the bell of the ball but I love old sweaty tool boxes and it was also from the first swap meet I attended! Some of these pictures are taken prior to cleanup. You can also see it has some of its original light grey wrinkle paint still in spaces
