Bought this bike and under the seat was a modified wrench. It fits the rear axle nut perfectly!

A couple of pics of the 40 year old ones I have and still use quite often
Just picked up this guy. Does anybody have any info on it?
It's got a number of VL-43 A1 on it. Offset chisel holder?

I know I'm re-vamping an old thread, and what follows should really be in the Vintage Tool section, but I was poking around Kraeter threads looking for something related to another posting and found this set pictured in post #10.I have heard good things about Kraeuter pliers. But my contribution here is a set of wrenches I sold on eBay for around $10 I think . . . almost 2 years ago.

Very nice find, Man.

Kraeuter is a maker that is dear to my heart, but you don't hear much about them in the main stream. Sooooo Lets talk about Kraeuter. Please share info, pics, stories that you may have regarding anything with the Kraeuter name on it.
IIRC they made, and were associated with SK as a economy line later on

Not sure what trade these flat-wide pliers were for. No wire cutter either. This name/number stamping doesn't look symmetrical like other pics online. What year are these from? 1915?
At 100 odd years (1921-1930) old I’d be happy with only a chipped tooth to worry about…..99.7% of a pair any kraeuter pliers, is a good pair of pliers!nice save.
Maybe they are for a glazier? Diamond made a similar plier for glaziers. Not sure what trade these flat-wide pliers were for. No wire cutter either. This name/number stamping doesn't look symmetrical like other pics online. What year are these from? 1915?
Top view? glazers pliers are very wide -lien 3/4" to an inch, and often wider at the tip.Not sure what trade these flat-wide pliers were for.
Krauter back in the day made nice stuff, I like them. I have 36 pair in 9 catagories.
