Thanks! I love old consumables like this because you don’t often find them. In the display case/ museum they go!Nice finds Smoke!
It not always about you!You forgot the horns and black tooth lugz!
ornaments at her level!!! Lol. Found breaker bar, then spotted case, then picked all the sockets to complete. Last piece spotted....the long lost breaker bar tee spinner!! Woot! Case isn't long c, but all the tools are. Circle H. All for $4!!I laughed out loud the whole time I was doing it!I laughed out loud when I saw your artwork!
The case isn't fully Heritage though, either, I don't think. The late 40's was a very weird period for them.Case isn't long c, but all the tools are.
And I'm pretty sure I have an extension here somewhere to match...now to find where I put it...I think all you missed was an extension? You ****!
Today's find. Had to rummage through tote, while herding a 2.5 year old girl through an estate sale full ofornaments at her level!!! Lol. Merry Flippin' Christmas! That's a fantastic find, Mike. It's curious why the pre-Sears, Roebuck & Co. "Craftsman" stuff isn't more popular with early pre-Long C Sears, Roebuck & Co. collectors just for the novelty.before long c, not sears, but craftsman.
No dedicated thread, but some extensive Marion-Craftsman Company and Cushman "Craftsman" talk in scattered threads... including this one...i can't find the history about sears craftsman name coming about.

In 45 years of avidly noticing Ford wrenches, I have never seen another one of these.www.garagejournal.com
Sears buying the name has come up elsewhere, and probably this very thread, but I don't remember where.
its got early wrench part numbers on it.... i think b4 sae decision to standardize.. not sure timing all that stuff... i'm trying to find about cushman c-tools logo if there is any. thx.Holy ****! That’s a stupendous find! Have you looked into what that tool panel held?
Ohh, early production b17. Very nice
I started the process of collecting the 1/2”drive 12PT Craftsman Circle H Set.
I found this partial Circle H set at a Berkeley sale in 2016. I resold them for a very slight profit. If I found them now I would clean them up and complete the set. This is what started me "collecting tools" for the sake of collecting most of 45 years back
I had a few, liked them and how old they were, and pulled them out of user circulation as I replaced them. I didn't much care about matched sets back then. I had a wallet sized card with sizes on the X and drives sizes, length for deeps, and point counts on the Y and was only concerned I had as comlplete a set as possible for every size use, - in a quality brand.

I got my first Craftsman Circle H partial set when I was in Colorado. I was more focused on buying old woodworking Craftsman machines than thinking about hand tools. I wish I didn’t make that mistake sold them. I had the female ratchet along with the plug. Maybe I will get lucky enough and find another one.
