I needed a tin travel case for my vintage razor recently, so I bought a tin of Altoids and dumped the mints into an empty Fisherman’s Friend bag. Should I feel guilty for doing that?

(Side note: What the heck Fisherman’s Friend people!! A bag? Seriously? Sigh… They just don’t make nothing like they used to.)

They make 3d printed inserts for all the parts of specific razors and a spot for a five pack of blades.

They probably have them for 40-50 different models of razors on Etsy.

I have looked at them, but I haven’t bought one yet.

Yeah I’ve seen those! Pretty neat.
The only problem I have with 3D printed stuff is the surface finish typically leaves a lot to be desired.

I think the same thing, they never last and go for good money.

As far as HF following along, yeah, thought that same damn thing too.

I wanted to find one years ago when I started at the FD. I was going to mount one in my bunkergear locker. However, I never found one for a decent price.
Funny how life happens.. tonight at a structure fire, I found this.

Probably hard to tell, but it was a little side box as pictured and discussed above.

There are several videos that I told my boss about acetone fume smoothing a while back. Sorry, I apparently can't copy links for sh*t but just google searching comes up with several that may interest you. I'm not a 3d printer guy myself, but it's all pretty cool.

I bought one, not sure why but I did anyway. Mastercraft flavor (Canadian Tire brand) in off white. Don't have a bunch of ideas for it use wise but I already want proper slides, a catch to keep the lid up without folding all the way over, and some feet. Undecided if it will get blessed with stickers just yet.

I saw the Detroit Lions box the other day at Lowe’s, when my wife needed hardware for a machine that cuts through stacks of paper.

I might get it at some point. If they come out with a Tigers box, I definitely will.

One of my home mini boxes. I still have a black US General that I got for Christmas from GJSS that I have not put anything in yet except a few odds and ins. This one I got from four.cycle a couple Christmas ago. Up top a few of my most used sockets, first drawer time serts and spark plug rethreading stuff and third drawer new sockets that I didn’t need just wanted or had replaced under warranty.

Picked up a Facom Cantilever a while back — the Ferrari/Schumacher edition, made-in-France steel, fold-out trays. Loved the box, but two things bugged me: the trays came bare so everything rattled and stacked on top of each other, and loaded up it's heavy to drag across the garage. Fixed both for under $40 and an afternoon. Figured I'd share since this is the right crowd for it.
