Altoids are a schill for the drive-by they're in. That's the one to compare to the others on this forum!
Bought a few from hf, just haven't figured out the problem to solve with them yet. Could use a 3 or 4 drawer with no lid, combine a few together for small tooling storage at various machines.
Altoid tins are what I used to keep my rubbers in when I was a young dating man in the 1990s. Probably TMI.
They make 3d printed inserts for all the parts of specific razors and a spot for a five pack of blades.I needed a tin travel case for my vintage razor recently, so I bought a tin of Altoids and dumped the mints into an empty Fisherman’s Friend bag. Should I feel guilty for doing that?
(Side note: What the heck Fisherman’s Friend people!! A bag? Seriously? Sigh… They just don’t make nothing like they used to.)
Yeah I’ve seen those! Pretty neat. They make 3d printed inserts for all the parts of specific razors and a spot for a five pack of blades.
They probably have them for 40-50 different models of razors on Etsy.
I have looked at them, but I haven’t bought one yet.
How fancy do you need for an Altoids tin?Yeah I’ve seen those! Pretty neat.
The only problem I have with 3D printed stuff is the surface finish typically leaves a lot to be desired.
Ok fair point lol. But I mean, it would be harder to pretend I’m a distinguished gentleman using my fancy razor with some chintzy plastic liner in my Altoids tin.How fancy do you need for an Altoids tin?
I used the old style flip top tins. I also used Sucrets tins.
You need the Arctic tins for really cool chicks.
Funny how life happens.. tonight at a structure fire, I found this.I think the same thing, they never last and go for good money.
As far as HF following along, yeah, thought that same damn thing too.
I wanted to find one years ago when I started at the FD. I was going to mount one in my bunkergear locker. However, I never found one for a decent price.

It's probably a good thing the LP tank was turned the other way.Poor thing looks like it put up a hell of a fight!

This post went bad, please see my next one. I haven't been drinking...Yeah I’ve seen those! Pretty neat.

There are several videos that I told my boss about acetone fume smoothing a while back. Sorry, I apparently can't copy links for sh*t but just google searching comes up with several that may interest you. I'm not a 3d printer guy myself, but it's all pretty cool.Yeah I’ve seen those! Pretty neat.

I bought one, not sure why but I did anyway. Mastercraft flavor (Canadian Tire brand) in off white. Don't have a bunch of ideas for it use wise but I already want proper slides, a catch to keep the lid up without folding all the way over, and some feet. Undecided if it will get blessed with stickers just yet.

This might actually be a great case for foam - when these are loaded up too densely, they're just too damn heavy anyway. So the "foam wastes space" argument doesn't matter.loaded up it's heavy to drag across the garage
Is that a Wera Koloss in the bottom?Picked up a Facom Cantilever a while back — the Ferrari/Schumacher edition, made-in-France steel, fold-out trays. Loved the box, but two things bugged me: the trays came bare so everything rattled and stacked on top of each other, and loaded up it's heavy to drag across the garage. Fixed both for under $40 and an afternoon. Figured I'd share since this is the right crowd for it.
