I don't get the I hate 12pt. socket thing... No one seems to hate using the 12pt. box end on a wrench...
I definitely care. I NEVER use 12-point sockets or wrenches unless I'm dealing with a square nut/bolt. I've rounded WAY too many with 12-points.
Loooove my SuperCombos.A trio of Williams SuperCombo wrenches from Amazon
IIRC DeWalt advertises 300 foot pounds of torque.Add power stack and u have the lightest most powerful in your hand, I keep being impressed by mine. I use it a lot with up to a 24mm flex socket all day. It does worry me how long it can last kicking so much *** but I’m just going to hope at least a year

I also prefer 6pt box wrenches. Put it this way... If I was deciding between two sets... and one had 6pt .. that would be a no brainer purchase.I don't get the I hate 12pt. socket thing. I've used a lot of 12pt. sockets with good results. I think all my early Craftsman metric sockets I used on my first VW Bug were 12pt.I'm not sure at the time they even had 6pt. metric sockets. No one seems to hate using the 12pt. box end on a wrench. With most sockets having an "off corner" type design the 12pt. would be ever better than some of the early 6pt. sockets.
I like 6pt. box wrenches also. But sometimes they are harder to get into some spots and use then the 12pt. ones.I also prefer 6pt box wrenches. Put it this way... If I was deciding between two sets... and one had 6pt .. that would be a no brainer purchase.
You should know me... I enjoy a challenge of making things fit in tight spaces.I like 6pt. box wrenches also. But sometimes they are harder to get into some spots and use then the 12pt. ones.
It's one thing to make it fit. It's another to be able to move your hand around when you're in there. You should know me... I enjoy a challenge of making this fit in tight spaces.
I'm told... it's part of the talent. But I have enough wrenches that are 12pt... I'm not concerned. I actually own too many wrenches... if that's a thing. It's one thing to make it fit. It's another to be able to move your hand around when you're in there.
Is there anything that you don't own too many of?I'm told... it's part of the talent. But I have enough wrenches that are 12pt... I'm not concerned. I actually own too many wrenches... if that's a thing.
I'll report back! I'm use to the plain old button without the moving straw. The newer wd40 with the bendy straw ***** for me. I switched to the gallon can for that.Like to see if it holds up until the can is empty.
Apparently ... internet speed. Still using dial up (if feels like it)Is there anything that you don't own too many of?![]()
Yes! You almost need both.I like 6pt. box wrenches also. But sometimes they are harder to get into some spots and use then the 12pt. ones.
Got some Milwaukee sockets on sale.
I bought one of those O-Ring assortments 40 years ago... turns out... I only use 2 or 3 sizes... had to buy bulk packs of those sizes... then I realized ... that KIT is cheaper than 1 bag of 1 size. I now own 3 sets... I put 3 in One oil on a paper towel and placed it inside the case... keeps everything moist.

That's what she said.keeps everything moist.
Blue kit is the metric version, I've had the standard version for 20+ years.I bought one of those O-Ring assortments 40 years ago... turns out... They have been on the Home Depot deal of the day. The two small sets were 25 and the other 35. Got them for the road trip fox for work. Better then the HarborFreight ones I was going to get.On sale where? I've been thinking of trying out their impact sockets. But unfortunately nothing is available in stores around here.

wile, but they are noticeably heavier.
