Picked up a 40-piece Wiha Terminator Blue Impact Driver Set. The bits seem decent, but maybe not the typical Wiha quality that I’m used to. The box, however, is pretty lousy with questionable fit and finish. It’s also about twice as thick as it needs to be!! Maybe I just got a bad one? I’ll be looking for an alternative storage solution that fits better in my Veto OT-MC tool bag. I welcome any suggestions.

Got these in the mail from VIM Tools today. I know their stuff is made overseas but I feel they are quality tools. The company is innovative and listens to their customer base. I follow them on YouTube. They have tool Tuesdays where they answer questions and show new products.
I grabbed a door hanger pin pack for hanging doors when solo and this auto adjusting pliers set. The knife was free for spending $50 +.

It looks like you bought two of these and cut one down. Difficult? Things to watch out for?

Yeah I bought two kits. The drawer shown is from my Snap On KRL box, so I actually had to trim the height down roughly 2". I don't think any of the HF boxes are as deep as SO KRL 30" deep boxes. Ymmv

As far as what to watch out for...ummmm the sheet metal is pretty thin so it's easy to work with. You will end up cutting a fair amount and hand bending some metal for brackets/fastening.

My you have a lot of drills, lets see the impact driver drawer LOL.

Listen!!! From left to right is Hi-Torque, Mid-Torque, M18 Impact Driver, M18 Drill, M12 Drill, M12 Surge Imact, M12 Polisher. Is that enough for you? 😘

My 12yo was in charge of labels that day...it was just easier to say "drills". That label material is $$$

If I ever label my drawers I’m going to call that one “Ugga Duggas”

What are those pliers? They look like Vampires but green?
I believe they are Engineer’s. Zoom in on picture and look at upper left hand corner of package. I believe you can find them on Amazon. Last Best Tool on YouTube talks about Engineers and Vampliers in a recent video.

Very nice!!! Is it made in Italy? I like the handle/lock ring.
I don’t know but I’ll look tomorrow after he opens it.

Edit: curiosity got the better of me and I looked, it is made in Italy.

I’ll admit I was a bit jealous looking it over since it’s way tricker then my collection of proto clickers I used in the electrical trade. I did play around with rotating the anvil, this 72 tooth is super smooth.

There is no fill line! You have been properly admonished!

All jokes aside, I'm excited to breakup some crud with this thing.
We had several in the lab I worked at. I’m not an expert, but I was always told that the ‘fill line’ was the lip edge about 3/4 of the way up the side. You can usually tell when the level is below the requirement by the sound. Ours would make a loud, ‘cavitating’ sound vs. the gentle ‘purr’ under normal operations.

I love the living **** out of my 3/8” one. Hoping to add the 1/2” soon enough.

I love mine

Good to hear. I have the thinner VIM bit ratchets, more like a ratcheting wrench, and they're fine; but, I'd like to have a more traditional sized one. It looks like this uses the same basic mechanism of the thin ones, so I was going to pick one of these up at some point.
