New Snap-on arrivals this week. He was the only tool truck to show up this week which is unusual. Usually he doesn’t show up except once a month but he has been on it here recently.
First a spindle rethreader set. Probably could have gotten this cheaper from somewhere else but it was convenient and we have this one tech who messes up these threads all the time so I want to be the one who is prepared lol. I need to get the tool to unstake the axle nuts too. On Toyota it will pull threads if you try to take it off when still staked. Learned that the hard way so I don’t do it anymore. I only do it for fun on junk non warranty axles now.
Then some small hose pinch off pliers. And some very sturdy plastic trim tools and scraper tools.
Brake caliper compressor tool for the Tundra, Sequoia and 4Runner and Tacoma brake calipers on the front.
Then semi deep chrome 1/4 drive sockets. I have to admit when I first saw semi deep sockets I thought it was the dumbest thing ever but the 3/8 ones have changed my opinion on that completely and you never realize how convenient and needed these things are. The quarter inch ones are going to serve me well and probably my bay neighbors too as they always borrow my 3/8 ones.
And mom always complains that I don’t ever bring her anything from the tool truck so I got her some pink socks and she likes them. I don’t know how anyone could stand ankle socks but that’s just me lol.
