Geez, that ain't cheap

I'm thinking if I can get mid 200's for my 1/2 drive one and find a new style one for mid 300's it would be worth upgrading. Seems like those prices aren't too out there based on just looking through some old listings on ebay. We shall see though. I'm done buying tools for a few weeks regardless
I wouldn't buy a used serialized torque wrench from eBay (same with any other tools with serial number on it, liens, unknown history etc etc).. It'll **** big time when you go on the truck/call Snap-on for warranty to find out someone still owe money on it.

Thinking about doing the same on mine too. Cap hasn't been too bad on my 1/2" but the 3/8 isn't so good
Did you get the updated caps with the metal re-enforcement run they drive on the end? It helps, but they still seem to be finicky. My 3/8 doesn't have the dual 80 head either which *****.
Thanks, that's good to know! I'll definitely use them like I'm supposed to... I've got older/cheaper/bigger long noses to commit pliers abuse with.
They also offer the electrical installation pliers.

Canadian Tire had Mechanix Wear gloves on sale, picked up two pairs of Impact Pro.

Highly recommended!

Got some more Ernst twist lock rails. Love these things

I need to order one more of the "double" tray things for my standard stuff but I've got metric pretty well covered. Also have another triple that is completely full of odd ball stuff. Torx, e-torx, hex, flex sockets, a $50 e-torx flex socket that only snap on had, etc. that isn't pictured.

The 1/2" ones are pretty tough to get on and off, but I guess that's better than the opposite

Re Knipex 614 electrician pliers...

I've got that same Knipex electrician pliers, holding up nicely with near daily use. I've yet to see anything from Knipex that isn't very high quality, you'll love them.

They're really proud of them too.

Thanks y'all. I walked out of Sears with the Knipex's minus $32 and change.

is that the PTS1000? i've been wanting to pick one up for awhile now, just havent been able to try one out before shelling out the $300 for it

Yes. I paid $200 for one and $125 for the other one. They both work just fine. I am waiting on a blade guard for one. It is on backorder from Snapon. These are really nice saws.

My first Snap-on purchase (minus my CL Classic 78). Replacing all Craftsman tools and trying to get as complete of a socket set as I can while I've got the student discount through Snappy.

I'll have to take a picture tomorrow, but it's a brand new in the package. Armstrong 1 1/8" long combo wrench. Almost felt bad buying it for $17.50. Seller didn't know what he had.

Nothing exciting unfortunately. Just the handle pulled off while I was pulling wheels off a truck. Couldn't get it pushed back on tight after it pulled off the first time so I got a new one.

Picked up the Harbor Freight shrinker stretcher combo on 50% off clearance.

They let me use a 25% off coupon.

Got the set for $85.

Here's to hoping they actually work!
