Yeah. I know matco makes a impact swivel that is 1/2" to 3/8th. You might look out for one of those. I need the 3/8th on the male end for e to ex sockets on euro transmissions. That's why I was asking

I got the same exact set from SO, the tray was also yellow. I wonder if someone else makes it for them?

Craigslist score for $140. The Allen sockets are snap on and the screw driver is a 75th anniversary edition whatever that's worth. The code reader is brand new and was never used. Box was sealed, I made sure it worked first and it does.

Report back after playing with the steam cleaner.

Interested in how the steam cleaner works for you.. I've been looking for one

I actually have had that same steam cleaner for about 10 years. Got it from Harbor Freight as well. It does work. All it does is heat the water in it's tank and the steam comes out the end of the hose. Yes it is hot. Recommend using distilled water though. After awhile minerals will build up. Haven't used it in some time though. But worked great for getting stickers off the truck. lol

Did all my transmission R&Rs with my MG325/FLL80 and 48" extension, haven't had the need to step up to 1/2" yet.

Get 36" and longer. 24" is too short.

HF load, steam cleaner, inspection camera, jack attachment, heat gun, 25" breaker bar and a few freebies. Coupons and sale items.

steamer is a deal and a half at HF. most places sell it for that retail price, grab it when it's on sale + 25% off and you are in the good.

i use it for detailing interiors more than anything else, it doesn't have the power to clean engine bays, but has more than enough to do carpets and upholstery, nice little machine.

The 23" and 36" SK transmission extensions are on my short list...

Nice setup. What kind of work do you do?

Well, I started a welding shop, my customers started having me do stuff like plows, frame extensions, and dump bodies etc.. Which caused them to see if I could fix their cars too. So I branched out into auto repair as well. Then my new landlord has a bunch of heavy equipment which I now maintain and repair. So I do pretty much everything vehicular related or I will weld up a handrail or even a t top for a boat if you like :).

Local CL find. Used but new to me. Snap-on orange handle ratcheting wrenches and a snappy 1/4" torque wrench. I'll probably go back for the other two torque wrenches.

My girlfriend and I exchanged Christmas gifts last night for some odd reason. TLL72 to go with the FLL80. Good thing there's not a SLL80 or i'd have to get that too. Zippo for size reference.

Man, I love the idea of those Wera spinner extensions. Are they as good in function as they are in my mind?

Those extensions are awesome. Spinning and Locking and Knurled at end so it's easy to spin with no ratchet.

The spinning part is basically nothing more than a plastic tube over the extension, granted it does have a retainer to keep it from sliding off. Just slide a piece of this over your current extensions to test the idea and see if you like it.

Got the Leatherman Sidekick multi tool. It was priced well on amazon so I decided to throw it in. The quality is actually really nice, my only gripe is that it doesn't have scissors.

My Zoro CM order.

Whiteside creeper seat. So much better than the ************* Torin it's replacing. Nothing I can do with the old except trash it.

My first Facom obstruction wrench. I like the finish a lot.

And some consumables.

EZ red hex bits from Amazon for $10. Will only work with ratcheting wrenches by the way. The magnets are too far from the edges of the hex bits to hold onto the rims on the boxes of standard wrenches.

And some VIM Tools.
I am starting to like a lot of the tools they make. They have great deals in their clearance section.

SAE tee handles and nut drivers. $15

Magnetic and claw pick ups. $6 each.

Matco shears and handle extensions. $9 and $10 respectively.

Stubby 3/8" impact hex bits. These are really nice.
