Not exactly tools but my boxes from Schaller for my toolboxes. Really like them.

Wilde pry bars, chisels, pick, clutch screwdriver and scraper. Some from HJE, the rest from straight from Wilde, plus Wilde sent stickers. Always a plus.

SK SAE hex bit socket set. Haven't used them yet. Hopefully they'll be as good as my Snap On set.

1/4" drive locker flex Armstrong ratchet,
purchased from a fellow GJ member

SK flex 1/2" ratchet.

Wilde valve spring compressor. Looking forward to using this.

Best thing is all but the crowfoot set are all U.S. made. But my SO dealer gave me a good deal on the Sunex set, cheap with a lifetime warranty it's hard to pass up.

You will love them. Out powers the snap ons the other guys in my shop have
Needed some filler to reach $60 and trigger a $25 off coupon, so got these.
Very few C-Man Pro choices left to choose now.

How is that engine ear I just ordered one for a few jobs I have coming up.

I haven't even taken it out of the wrapping yet. But I'll report back after I try it out. For the ~20 bucks it cost I figured it was worth a try, guess we'll see.

That's great to hear, I'm looking forwards to using it. I have an older ir ti 1/2" that does ok but the lock ring donated it's self to round file long ago and I'm sick of sending sockets into the atmosphere when I can't two hand them.

Yep guess so I still have the stethascope style but getting a little older. Just do not hear as good as I use too so thought this might help some.

Brother that's exactly where I'm at as well. What's starting to really get to me is the damn engine assc have gotten so condensed that trying to find a noise with them feels like an excercise in Russian roulette. Then there's identifying drivetrain noises on my four post lift with the drive wheels jacked up that instills only so much confidence.

I'll play with it this weekend on the kids truck after we finish just for kicks :3gears:

What local tool supplier? I thought I knew all of them.

Brownsfan,

The name of the tool supplier is High Quality Tools in Willowick. Here is the address: 34940 Lakeland Blvd, Willowick, OH 44095. This is their website: www.hqtinc.com

High Quality Tools sells industrial equipment like mills and lathes; and parts for them. However, they also sell hand tools. Some of the brands they carry are Bondhus hex wrenches, Felo screwdrivers, Wiha screwdrivers, Lixie dead blow hammers, King Tony (Florida location stocks a good amount; Ohio location can order anything from their catalog), Irwin locking pliers, Nebo flashlights, and others.

Yes sir just know one thing it is starting to **** to get older. To many times of firing up those engines with open headers. And too much time at the drag strip.

Took the kid up to the north side for another ASE test, went shopping on the way back down and picked these up. The Channel Lock and the Wilde were on sale at Menards at their Made in the USA sale. The pin punches have a pilot for drive spring / roll pin. The Craftsman allen wrench sets were from Sears Outlet, total $3.. Need some replacement sizes..

Craigslist deal $400. It has a slight rust spot on the front ,but I'll kill it and cover with a sticker.

Milwaukee 49-22-4185 28 piece bi-metal hole saw kit.
I needed one hole saw (4 1/4) to install a dryer vent. When I saw that one hole saw sold for just under $30 plus the arbor, I just got the biggest kit I could find. $213 now I'm set for just about anything ! Bought once - bought right.
What do you think ?

Injector pulse tester, going to chop the leads and install male/female banana plugs to extend the reach. They're way too short.

Skin - what did those set you back if you don't mind me asking?

$35 or so including shipping for the set. Trick is to buy them from Europe as a lot of US based sellers gouge like crazy. The dollar/euro conversion is very good right now.

Got this 42" snap on pry bar on Craigslist. Ended up getting it for 20 bucks.
The end striking cap spins and the handle has a crack in it. I don't know if I would seem like a pain if I asked my snap on guy if that deems it warrantable or if I should just use it and wait for the handle to actually fully crack apart? Opinions

Skin - what does the inside of the other two sockets look like? I just ordered a set a while back and the 17 and 19mm had a plastic insert that was flat. The Red 21mm looks like yours with the hole (I thought this was an error) and my green 22mm had no plastic insert.

Is this the way they are suppose to be?
