Haha, yeah I must have just convinced myself it was $20 instead of $40,

Got some new goodies. Stahlwille deep offset box wrenches, Tone compact 3/8" ratchet, and Ko-Ken spring clip spark plug socket.

I was gonna say, I think I originally posted that deal! How did I not get it for 20$ then?!![]()
Nice. Ive never priced the Tones, but the Blackhawk versions of those ratchets are some of the best bang for buck ratchets going. Seriously underappreciated around here.

Gearwrench swivels and Torx Tamper bit sockets

Have you used the swivel sockets yet? I've read that the GW can be a little loose compared to Snap On, etc. But for the price I think they might be hard to beat. 3/8 chrome swivels are next on my wish list.

I find it strange that nobody complains about 12 point super long box or combo wrenches but becomes distraught over the thought of a 12 point socket. It makes zero sense to me.Picked this set up for $16. All 6-point, aka the good stuff that Lowes no longer carries in their stores anymore because they mainly only carry 12-point sets now.

Just picked them up from Advance Auto Parts during lunch today. Everything in that picture cost me $60 total after a $40 off $100 coupon and B of A 20 percent cash back deal.
I've had them for a while. Needed a swivel at home and aa only had the set. Not nice as so, but so get the job done
I have orings stretched on all my chrome swivels. It fixes that issue

I prefer six point only because I often work in filth and they're easier do de-gunk. A 12 point dropped in the mud is a not good thing. You bang the six point on a tree and move on.
In a clean shop I could give a damn. One is as good as the other.

I prefer 12 points at work for anything not requiring an impact. I have never had an issue and I work on giant presses.I find it strange that nobody complains about 12 point super long box or combo wrenches but becomes distraught over the thought of a 12 point socket. It makes zero sense to me.

Explain the need for a 20mm ratcheting wrench? Or just OCD?
Are the reversibles made in China or are they still made in Taiwan?
So you think I will never need a 20mm wrench for anything? I don't know, do you only have the wrenches you need for the project you're working on right now?
I'm just trying to build a good set of tools for whatever may come up. My Craftsman RP wrenches go up to 25mm and I'm pretty sure I purchased them as a set.
I'm just messing with u man. U may need the open end on an ecotec fuel filter someday...
