No pic and it's not in my garage yet. Getting a 53"x 31" x 2" blanchard ground steel plate from work for free. We got about 2 dozen similar sizes pieces and we're doing a significant amount of cleaning up and reorganization. Will make one awesome fab table. Debating if I want to drill and tap a 3/8-10" in a 4" grid and make it a fixture table or leave the surface just ground.

Here’s a pic of her! Going to model a bench on solidworks and probably start a thread in the fab forum.

I like overbuilt stuff as much as the next guy, but a half ton of benchtop might be a little excessive, even for me...

By all accounts I'm likely a ladder hoarder. But I really love these "dual front" ladders for the convenience of being able to use either side, or two people.

When this 6' popped up on AWD for $90 (Amazon retail $205+) I couldn't say no. The top plates were a little dented but it's completely useable.

These dual fronts are always the heavy duty rating, too - presumably so you can have two people on it at once - and that's nice

The new 1/2" and 3/8" impacts were feeling lonely so I snagged a 1/2" drill to keep them company :D

A click and a swipe later it's on my doorstep in less than 8 hours. Waaaaay to easy to spend money with Amazon:lol:

Got a little toy grade machine. It will eventually live on a hand truck style cart with a little 80cuft cylinder. I wanted a dual voltage inverter to run .030 hard wire on the run.

I saw the 1/4" version of this when I was on the truck the other day.

They make soft handle versions? Full of want.

They don't, I do. Take a 3/8 bit and drill out a handle, it presses on to their 1/4" chrome handles pretty well.

A friend found a couple old cabinet saws. They were both pretty rough. I decided to keep the delta and give it a little love. I’m sure some of you guys would like to kick me in the nuts for doing this to it.... :lol_hitti

For some reason Amazon canada was clearing out random Proto hex sockets (Only SAE ones, some of them tether ready, some not...). Picked all these up for the equivalent of $32 US.

Not a full set, but you can't beat that price I don't think :bounce:

The tether ready ones just have a detent hole on all four sides, and are otherwise the same.

One of the retired guys sent me a text the other day asking me if I wanted this box. It's an older Snap-on and I have no idea of the age. It belonged to his late FIL and not sure what it was used for or why the side has holes drilled in it. I'm guessing some type of electronics and had electric fans mounted on the side.

In case you're wondering at the price, free.

It's a rebranded Lisle kit. Lisle lists it for $89 via amazon. Matco sells it for $159. Just added to my tool truck equivalent website!

Picked up a Milwaukee 3/4” Impact for some big fixtures at work.

Put this thing to the test today with a 1-1/2" grey pneumatic socket. This thing kicks some serious ***. Could not get the fasteners to budge anymore (tightening) using a 4.5' long 3/4" breaker bar.

I picked these up today at Family Farm and Home. They are closing out Tekton tools and are 50% off. The files were $2.50 each, Hammer was about $5/6 and the Torx wrenches were I forget how much, maybe another $5.

The chisel set was $7, 18" adjustable wrench was $15 and the 1/4" drive extensions were $4.

I've wanted a Tormek since the old green models were new. Finally got one. Takes a bit of practice, but all our kitchen knives and my EDC knives are all like razors now.

Snap On dealer has officially started coming every week. This is the beginning of the end. :lol_hitti

Not pictured is my 5' hutch light I picked up today. I'll post pics once all my pieces are in and assembled. :)

Got a new set of 3/8" metric deep impact sockets. I have a used set that I purchased second hand, so I would've felt bad if I ever asked my new dealer to warranty anything from that set. I'm letting go of the other set just fyi..

He brought my 7mm in this week, so now I have 6-19mm ratcheting wrenches. Will slowly buy the larger ones not included in the set.

Just a few things that I've been wanting for a while and finally decided to pick up. I really like this tape measure...used it as soon as I unboxed it. Tempted to get an extra for one at home. Get the one with the part number that ends in EM since it will have inches and cm.

DSC01257 by P A, on Flickr

1/4" Driver Handle. Probably should've just gotten a different shaft for my ratcheting handle, but oh well. It's nice not having to change bits when working on something I guess.

DSC01258 by P A, on Flickr

Long and short mini pic set. I also have a set of Ullman pics. My gripe with the Ullmans is that if you needed to rotate the pic to get something out, the handle would slip or start to unscrew from the shaft. Kind of irritating.

You're too nice. I bought half my snapon and matco stuff used. No qualms whatsoever about getting my dealer to warranty anything for me.

I yanked harder than anyone should on those mini picks and I was stunned they suffered zero ill effects. Mentioned this to my dealer, he said they don't bend, they break, and you have to really mean it to break one. Well worth the cost, especially on promo.
