My Milwaukee m12 tools came in

3/8 stubby to replace my old snap-on ct4410. Snappy has been a good tool but the ni-cad batts were crapping out. Thinking the stubby should have about the same output, in a smaller package

The m12 impact/driver and hammer/drill replace my old Makita 12v impact/driver and drill/driver (old slide in handle batt deals, like m12).

Now I'm on one batt platform at work

I didn't get to use any of the tools today. [emoji853] Only did some bs work today, oil changes and alignments. Been a pretty slow week, only good job was brakes, all around, on a full size ford transit

New to me.. my son found this in a junkyard truck.... and I sharpened it and added it to the holster I already had (from my Uncle's estate).. Honed it up to cut paper easily... took a nice edge.

NOS USA pliers at Ollies for $5.99 can’t beat that they also had tons of USA screwdrivers that I got too just don’t have a picture of them I got these yesterday after work I can’t wait to use them I love Craftsman USA stuff. We will see how these compare to the Channellock brand USA ones I’m sure they will be about the same.

I recently bought five Toptul AEEC-series double-ended swivel-socket spanners, or whatever you call these, to make a little set:



As with other Toptul stuff I have, they don’t seem to be quite as good as the very best of their type, but I’m pleased for the price.

Always heard them called saltus wrenches. Don't know if that's their technical name or not.

Lol. I went back today to see if they had more cause my coworker wanted some so I got him some and today they had a bunch of Kobalt extensions and pliers and a bunch of wrench racks and pliers too.

I had time to do a couple of spot welds with my new spot welder! I love this thing so far! The fact that there are no welds to dress is amazing and no heat distortion! I am using it on the back of a vintage craftsman tool box I am working on now!

I'm really liking the idea of an M12 Fuel Stubby 1/2 impact to run in conjunction with an M18 Fuel high Output.

You're going to love the M12 stubby, it's a little beast. I did a cat back on my Ram on one charge of a little 2.0ah battery with no trouble at all.

Tormek T-7 wet sharpener $40.00.
Needs refurbishing but the motor is strong, frame a little tippy (probably dropped this monster), wheel need truing a few bitty chips but remarkably sound.
Accessories are mighty expensive but worth the time and cost to get it going right at least to me. I ordered a tru-tool, rotating base, grading stone, angle master and a new style water trough. They had a Preston water jug cut top for it which actually worked pretty good.

Ordered 2 sets of Matco Metric Extra Long Wrenches 10-19mm. Regular price $450 but they were in the June flyer for $150. I may sell a set to finance the whole purchase or keep it. Look good, feel good we will see how they work.

Honestly, the Mid is probably a good choice as a companion to the Stubby for most of us. It's lighter and has plenty of grump. I was an idiot and wound up with the Mid and High, and haven't used the High yet (though if I ever need to do the crank hub not on my wife's Odyssey...)

I was thinking that as well, my needs are automotive, rusty bolts on brakes, suspension components etc. on old Square Body Pickups....im also not afraid to use heat, PB-Blaster and a breaker bar.


Plus my daily driver and the wife's, I don't think the stubby would have any issue tackling really anything at all on it.

That's a steal for that machine. Even of you have to buy a new wheel and totally rebuild it, it's still a deal.

Everything about these is better than every other pair of snap ring pliers I’ve used - from the grippy handles to the quick-release mechanism for converting them, to the correct orientation and formation of the tips for each use. New 1/4" drive 5/16" socket to replace a -v- series Cman that I lost when I knocked the box off the front of the truck while changing the battery, its the only socket I couldn't find (will probably find it now). Also got a sheet of socket rail labels for free.

Yes a very lucky find. I got spoiled with a monthly professional sharpening service that would sharpen all of mine and my crew knives. I started looking at the Work sharp and tried it out at a Cabelas - ehh results. The Tormek stood out but $$$ out of my reach.
On the parts - I ordered from a Tormek supplier from Germany, cheaper faster than the authorized stateside dealers - hmmm. I fitted It with an affordable Wen wet sharpener leather honing wheel. Looking for a rock hard split felt wheel 10” next for burr removal on serrated blades been checking the jewelers supply.

Finally put the m12 /8 stubby to the test. Thing has some balls, took out the rear brake bracket bolts on a 100k mile caravan with an 18mm swivel socket. Pretty sure my old snap-on ct4410 wouldn't have touched those

Snap-on used to have them made by Precision Instruments but they don’t anymore so that’s why it looks so similar.
