You got it figured out.I was surprised the teeth mesh so well. Impressive for $11 shipped.
Should be great for pulling hair out of shopping cart wheels.
Those toolaid strippers are great! My favorite autos by far, and priced right!Just picked up this Tool Aid automatic wire stripper. Wanted to try something different than my old "Mac Tools" Automatic wire stripper.
It is...and the bag of Haribo that he threw in was an even nicer touch. Is that a sticker Jens included with the order? Nice touch.

I had that exact Craftsmen box, now I can't remember what I did with it. I use to take it with me to the track with some tools, just in case. Never had to use any of the tools at the track. Nice assistant in the background. So as promise, here are pics of the rest of the huge Craftsman lot I bought from the bicycle guy.
Craftsman hip top box. Pretty much brand new from the '70s.
Various Craftsman sockets. Pretty much new. 6 point SAE, Metric 1/2 drive. There is a couple of 2/8 6pt and a lone Snap On 24mm deep.
Yet another like new 70's Craftsman toolbox
Contents of 2nd box. All brand new. What a bunch of shiny 70's Craftsman!
Thanks and yup...slide hammer is also on my shopping list (currently don't own one) along with CV adapter.....hoping something good goes on sale on Amazon Prime Day next week. It will be a 2nd tool purchase that I hope I don't have to use. I have a QuickJack so I know air hammer can be used but for last resort as I will likely lose the core charge if I air hammer **** out of the axle.A $20 slide hammer adapter works like wonder when taking out CV axle. But this is also fun if you have a lift.
I have Fords and Mopars. 13 and 15 are really common.Nice looking set. I do have a gripe about the sizes, though, for this and most other sets. I wish they would split off some more sizes like they do the 17/19, both commonly found, so it is useful to have them both on one wrench. The same would also be true if they made an 8/10 and a 12/14. I rarely need 9, 11 and 15, and 13 only if it is a non-Japanese M8 fastener.
Then a 13/15 combo would also make sense. My point being I like to see commonly used sizes on the same wrench, not a common one together with an uncommon one, which makes you have to grab two wrenches.I have Fords and Mopars. 13 and 15 are really common.

Tell me about the VIM ratchet, Do you like it? Do you think its handle is too large? Crisp ratcheting action?

I think it'll come in handy eventually. The handle isn't too large IMO, I think it matches the size of the ratchet pretty well. It is larger than the typical 1/4 ratchet. Crisp ratcheting, there is some play in the anvil. Jersey discount tool has them for $33 shipped at the moment. No use, as it just arrived. First impressions are good. Here's a comparison picture.

To be honest, I've only used it once and it worked well for my needs. It isn't the most powerful, but it works good for cars. The one thing I didn't realize about it until I went to get one, was that it uses proprietary hose and accessories, so you can't use just any hose, tips, snow cannons, or wand, etc. However the nozzle is adjustable, it does a pretty cool spiral that helps scrub, and it comes with a snow cannon of its own.How is this working for you? Thinking of picking one up.
