Monday morning I found a set of wolf tracks right past the shack from the night before the size of my fist, wish I would have taken a picture before the rain killed them

The last few updates have been great. Looks like things are speeding along. I love the radiant heat. Wish the previous owners of my place would have put in radiant or I had not had a slab so I could put it in.
The wildlife update was a bit scary. I have never lived in any area where a wolf was of serious concern. I have camped in bear country a couple times. I fortunately have never had anything that I knew could cause serious harm too claoe.
Two Sunday's ago I had a black & gray wolf 30 yards from me while driving my tractor out of my driveway. I'm always carrying tho

Beautiful Kimber man. They are top shelf pistols. I've got a Colt 1911 that was issued to my great great uncle in WWI dated 1917, 100 years old now. Timeless platform.

It been raining all week sic I spent some me time in my dads barn finishing a deer blind I built last year.
Just need to bring the tractor over next week and load it on a trailer and drive it the 6 miles to my land and work on digging the 6x6 posts into the ground then lift it up with the tractor & pallet forks!

Got to say, the pallet forks on my tractor are the most used attachment I have. They are WAY more useful than just picking pallets.
Deer blind looks awesome!![]()
no roof?
We have had a lot of rain over the last few weeks in Wisconsin. That was ok by me tho.

huge walleye

brought up the grade under the porch so I could run the miter saw while it rains the next few weekends.
my daughter helping daddy grab some firewood.
worked on framing out walls in between the posts

Question on building out the walls between the posts. why double and what looks like triple studs? Will these be supporting a floor above?

i went overboard and used 2 lvl's glued and bolted together then lag bolted them with 1/2' 10" lag bolts.

...... That is a lot of work and my hat is off to you for tackling this yourself.
