Please tell me that you ARE NOT WEARING A MAIDS TU'TU around the house.
Just my first impression when I read that you were taking on the household chores while your wife was on the mend
My wife and I wish her a speedy recovery
Don
Herb,
All the best to your wife.
Your red ute looks in great condition for its age do you garage it?
Thanks.
Just checking in Herb, how are things going?
Wishing both of you all the best for a speedy recovery.
Regards
Gerard
Thank you so much. The wife is doing well right now, just a week after the surgery.
Not wearing a kitchen apron, but damn, I make a mean bologna sandwitch!
Best Regards
Herb
Glad to hear your wife is going well. All the best to both of you with the recovery, it's always a bit stressful when your spouse is having medical difficulties.
Cheers,
Andrew.

Herb, your garage is fantastic! I like how you have a place for everything and everything in it's place. One day, I hope my shop is as organized as yours. Anyways, I hope your wife continues to recover quickly and that she doesn't get tired of your bologna sandwiches.![]()
Remember you might need her help sometime so maybe we can provide some simple recipes for you to look like a star.
Got a crockpot?
This is what I am making for tonight.
Bean soup
Soak 1pound dried beans over night in pot.
Or use 2 cans of beans
Drain beans and add to crock pot
Cut up
3 potatoes
3 carrots
1 onion
Add seasonings to your taste
Add catsup, mustard, barbecue sauce
2 cups diced ham
Add water to cover
Cook on high all day
Serve.. Whatever I can I put in the crockpot since it is so easy to clean the stoneware.
Hey Herb
I finally put my hands on some old hand plains but don't have any idea how old they are.
can you help me??

It's good to hear that your K.P. duties are coming to a close soon.
and that your wifes status has been upgraded lol
Oh ya one more thing,
almost everything you post in your garage is suckable . IMHO
Thanks herb
Don
Wow Herb you do get a "You ****". And you just jogged my memory. I have one of these toolboxes in the attic. It belonged to my grandpa. He had it in his truck for road side repairs. I can't remember what kind of shape its in. Will have to dig it out when I get home form work tonight. I also have several of those locks my Father in law had stashed in his toolbox.
Wow you guys are *********! LOL. If I can't get a "you ****", then I guess the Pulitzer or Nobel Prize would be out of the question!!
Best Regards
Herb
P.S. As Gerard said there are rules... 1/2 Cup
Herb Herb Herb you know the rules of " YOU ****. LOL Gerard
1/2 cupHerb,
That plane of Dons' look very much the same as the one I picked up some months ago.
Mine is a Record and it has stamped War Finish on many of the parts which would date it around 1940 - 1950s.

It's so great the you are teaching your grandson to wood work and taking him fishing. That's something I loss out on being both grandfathers died before I was born. That's probably why I always had many older gentleman has role models and to learn from.
Best wishes on your wife's recovery. Am way behind following all my favorites as I came down with the flu and pneumonia at the beginning of last week. Just getting back to normal and I have plenty to keep me busy here on GJ. Neat old tool box find, Herb.
