On page 8 of this very thread I posted a photo of my custom KRSC46GPJJ as I purchased it and another photo on page 11 of it with the bottom 8" drawer swapped out for two more 4" drawers, however none of how I had each drawer laid out. Yesterday I finally started organizing my garage and started with the top half of my toolbox. Here are the results:

Custom ordered KRSC46GPJJ:

Socket area (kept directly under the lid; My large Snap-on Mopar ball joint sockets are what is missing in the 2 gaps towards the front):

Ratchet / extrension / universal drawer:

Screwdriver / file / interior panel puller / digital caliper drawer (screwdrivers will eventually be placed in the "sides" of the top along with my prybars...):

20160807_211543_zps9lgul2sd.jpg

Hex Key / line wrench / misc wrench drawer (pay no attention to my broken O2 sensor socket : ( ):

Piers / wire stripper drawer:

Wrench drawer (Metric = 7mm - 24mm & SAE = 1/4" - 1-1/4"):

Hammer / air tool / drill bit / torque wrench / tape measure drawer:

The other 3 drawers are pretty much full of tools that are stored in their original blow molded cases...which still need to be organized!
...someday soon, more to follow...

Can someone tell me what are the INTERIOR dimensions of the KRSC46 drawers? I need just the width and depth, but not the height.

Assuming they're the same drawers as the KRA4107 (I'm pretty sure this is correct), theyr'e 34 3/8" by 17 1/16". You can get up to 34 1/2 wide, where there are no doublers (at the top) or slides sticking through.

This is just a KRA4107 with a different top, corner guards and 4" drawer in place of the 2" ones. The drawers for the KRA4107 are the same, so the drawer guards are the same too. If you buy a set, you'll just end up with an extra.
KADG4107 for the brushed, KADGP4107 for the polished.

Anyone have any ideas on what where to find the drawer guards for a KRCS326? Part #'s?

Anyone know if you can take the vertical edge rubber trim pieces off? I think it would look cleaner without them and I wouldnt be using it as a cart.

There are holes for the mounting clips to snap into.

I do not really use mine as a cart either. I had a KRL box for a long time, I work in a manufacturing plant as a mechanic. Pushing a KRL around all day can take a lot out of you. I love the KRSC carts, for the way they roll and all they can hold. I got the divider top so I can still use my top and access the inside with parts on top. After a week I realized I just didn't have enough room, so I added a old viper top box. The greens don't match with drives me absolutely nuts... but it works good. Only two slides hold each top on, which surprisingly hold the weight of parts and the top box (for having Taiwan stamped on them....) other than that I'm happy. I miss my vice. But the fact I have a skinnier cart allows me to get places my KRL never could.

I am thinking about using one of the KRSC404APV adapter panels on another roll cart to mount some of the Snap On accessories. Can anyone give me the dimensions of the panel. Height, width and bolt spacing. I really appreciate it.

Has anybody tried to bolt two together? With the top that slides backwards?

I'm looking at purchase of a used Green KRCS 46 but the bottom draw right side was hit and slightly bent. The seller says that's only problem. If there's nothing else wrong with the box or internal problems due to draw damage I'm considering another 8" draw or two 4" draws to replace. It's been up for sale for awhile. Right now he has box at 800. I think that still too much for what I have to do to repair it. What's the going rate on the two 4" draws.

The drawers will cost you a minimum of $200 each.

Those of you with the 2" drawers, what's the biggest combo wrench you can fit on rack or rail system before they just need to lay flat? In my kra4055 I believe I have 30 mm before they need to lay flat. Are all snapon 2" drawers really the same, mine appear abit under...

Thanks for helping me find my next box. I'm thinking of four 2" and the remainder 4"

Thinking of going same route four 2" and the rest 4" deep. I was attempting to find a used box but as usual if your looking you can't find one unless it's out of state and a million miles away. The Snapon guy says boxes are on promo so I'm going new. Can't get promo pricing on special order.

I'm going to revive this thread since I just ordered the all new KRSC430PJJ (Green) which will replace the discounted krsc43. If you look around on the Snap On website they have the KRSC430PJJ listed but no pictures or even specs. I sent Snap On a message and they actually responded and sent me a picture of the KRSC430PJJ. :rocker: They added more usable storage to some wasted space. They added 2 small 2" sliding drawers under the Stanless slides.

Will be here in 4-6 WEEKS! Can't wait, will post actual pictures when it comes in.

Was wondering if your guys have done any mods to your Snap On tool carts since this thread died. If so post them UP! :D

Re: Snap on krsc46 mod thread .

Ok guys after a few emails I found there is apparently a new cart the krsc430. It looks identical to the 43 except for the extra drawers under the lid and pre-drilled for the power strip (says snap on). Now after some searching I found a part number for the lid half ( part number 430w10) it looks like the extra drawers are made into the slides. I will ask my rep Monday but I hope this was at least some help. If anyone else gets some additional info please let me know

Re: Snap on krsc46 mod thread .

Picked this one up a few weeks ago. The 2" drawer mod is extremely tempting. Going to be using it as a machinist box so the more shallow drawers the better.

I sent an email today to Snap On Canada and got a reply of no when I asked about adding the new drawers to my 43. I'll bug the rep next week and get him to bring in some trays and slides, shouldn't need new tops. Are you able to get a parts breakdown of the 43 to see if the tops/slides are the same?

Lids are diffrent...slides are the same.
I'm thinking about trading mine in already and custom ordering one with some 2" drawers. Because it'll cost around $600 to do the swap

Thanks for the quick reply. Yea I was already thinking of selling my year old 43 as I want it to match the 2 flat black 1023's I have. Now with this new setup it looks like I might have to order one up with (4) 2" drawers and (5) 4" drawers like the green posted above. I find this 43 and new 430 to be great for working on trucks and equipment in large shops, I barely go to my 1023, maybe twice a day for something out of the ordinary.

I recently purchased a brand new Snap-on KRL-1022 in Extreme Green from a private seller (never even had the handle installed nor were the drawer liners removed from their protective plastic shipping bag). I will be customizing it (using a nice KRL-7022 in Extreme Green that I also recently purchased) and only need one box, so I handed off my two custom KRSC46's (one 9-drawer and one 7-drawer) to my father which simply replaced his early version standard layout KRSC46's. I then promptly sold his "old" KRSC46's on the local Craigslist and basically broke even on the carts.

At any rate, I just thought I'd share a side-by-side "goodbye" photo of two awesome roll carts...
