Oh yes in the roll bag, should have mentioned that. Polished, I don’t know what era, I’ll try to post the pic.Does it have the roll bag with it? Which era are they? If they are the polished ones in good condition, that doesn't sound hateful. I wouldn't sell my set for that little (or at all).

Those are the greatest ones to have as “users” and I’d pay near 200usd all day long. I still wouldn’t sell my set like that for that kind of money. It does look like not an original roll though. Beat him up and get ‘em.
Update on this, I just picked them up for $265 CAD.Not sure if this is the place to ask this, but this is where I discovered Bonney tools so...
I recently saw a set of (used) Bonney combination wrenches for sale, $300 (Thats CAD, which translates to $218 USD), sizes 1/4” through 1 1/4”.
Does that sound like a reasonable price to you guys?
Congratulations!Update on this, I just picked them up for $265 CAD.
You've been Bon-E-Conned!

Truthfully because of the way I work. I would not be able to find them because they are to organized. They're not out there where I can see them. Like my socks.Obnoxiousfumes. I have the full set of metric from 10 to 21 MM and a skip to 23 MM in the long reach. Then in the short reach I have from 5-19 MM in black oxide. I got the black oxides from eBay and the long reach my original set was 10-20 MM and then the 21 and 23 MM I found later on eBay. I had my original long reach for 40 years and yea they been used hard and put away clean.
The original vinyl bags were really nothing to write home about and in the metric and SAE as my wrenches all came in the vinyl roller bags but after a entire career of use they long ago departed as they fell apart from my use.![]()
The metric long reaches from the Triangle era are hard to find. A few years ago Harry Epstein's had some of the wrenches but it took me four years to find replacements of missing wrenches as I think I had the 12, 14 and 17 MM missing. The black oxide MEBs were a lucky happenstance in me finding the entire set all at once on eBay and I grabbed those up quick. I do use the black oxide ob occasion where a long reach does not fit but for the most part the long reach is my first go to. I do appreciate the fact that you like the post I do.Mikeske, I haven't come across a polished set of MEB's in the wild, then again I haven't been actively looking. I've got my MAC CLL set to fill that void. However, I do have a partial set of the MEB black oxide that I'm working on filling. Always like your Bonney posts.
I always had to keep everything organized and the tools put away as I was an aviation for the final 30 years of my working life and had to account for all my tools after every job. Well that instilled in me to keep it organized after I retired. For the first ten years of my working life I was a vehicle mechanicTruthfully because of the way I work. Yea I totally understand. I am just a mess. I always get people stopping in to have me fix it. In the middle of something going on. Not now. But springtime is crazy. I always do a reorganize every fall but not this fall. I would bet I would win the messiest garage on this site. And I am not proud of it.I always had to keep everything organized and the tools put away as I was an aviation for the final 30 years of my working life and had to account for all my tools after every job. I am that way when I work on someone’s or for that matter my own stuff. Everything I drag out I just either toss it on top of my toolbox or on a cart. When I finish I then wipe everything down and return it to the toolbox. That way I have done an inventory of all the tools and if something is missing I can do a complete search before the vehicle is gone. With the cost of the tools I have put in to the Bonney tools I want to insure I have everything back in its place and I have left nothing behind.Yea I totally understand. I am just a mess. Yes, you do!Trouble is, my OCD says I now need a metric set too...![]()

I'll just repeat here what I said over on the new "Fencing PLiers" thread.I didn't see any patent date on them.

Thanks. That is cool. I will send them a few pictures and see what they say.I'll just repeat here what I said over on the new "Fencing PLiers" thread.
I could be wrong, but it sure looks like a spittin' image for this! Note that DATAMP considers it "Not known to have been produced," simply because they have no examples. The nice/rightcool thing to do would be to contact a steward. They will, eventually, amend that, allude to Bonney in some way (they may not be the OEM) and include photos of your "Bonney Tomahawk" branded example, crediting you.

That looks just like my C E Jennings machinist box. Maybe the same maker?
Definitely C.E. Jennings. I identified it for the prior owner and we discussed it again when @LesserSon found a similar one and was looking to make a match. Discussed earlier in the thread.Maybe the same maker?
I am guessing that's who made the tag. Beach or Art Supply or some other company in the Coshocton, Ohio area, which was an epicenter for industrial advertising, including lithographed boards, signs, tags, etc.It does have a very light marking in the lower right corner where corrosion is the worst. Haven't quite made that out yet but here's a pic.
Thanks. Personally, I think that's way too small for a merchandiser or a tool board.Dimensions are 2-9/16 x 7-9/16
I am not trying to talk you out of it. But if you're not committed to it, and you want to do a future trade in which I take the lop-sided brunt of the vendor's excessive pride, please put me first in line!No plans for the perfect display location as of yet so I could be up for something I suppose...the vendor I bought it from was sure proud of it.
I would definitely be interested in the tools in the bottom drawer of your box, should be interested in trading or selling. Are they Bonney?I am guessing that's who made the tag.
