Now I don't know what to think. I just got a shipping confirmation for the SK box. No tracking number...

I'd assume that (if it really is shipped and it really is an SK tool chest) since it's a large item, it won't be coming FedEx, UPS, or USPS, hence no tracking.

I guess all I can do is wait now and see what arrives. If it does come UPS, i'll get a notification from MyUPS where I can check the shipping weight.

I just got my tracking number and UPS says it weighs one pound. Souds like i too am getting a single pad!

These guys really ****!

Submitted cancellation request Wednesday evening via Amazon. Get two confirmation emails through Amazon from Autoplicity confirming my request and them working on it.

Just now I get a shipping confirmation from them through Amazon...such tools.

and it's a 1 pound package too...looks like it will be on my doorstep when I get home from work.

Yep and everything thing they send me clearly says "Chicago Pneumatic CP7200S Mini Random Orbital Sander Kit".

Logic would think that is what should be in the box...:lol_hitti

Another 3 inch hook and loop pad was delivered. They finally responded to my cancellation request from yesterday and told me to file a return request on Amazon since it was already processed and shipped. And their tracking info is very dysfunctional:

-8/25 Ordered
-8/26 Amazon status showed "shipping 8/27 - 8/30"
-8/26 shipping notification received direct from UPS since I have a Choice Account
-8/27 Amazon shipping status updated to "Shipped"
-8/27 UPS notification "Shipment delivered"

Now we will see how long it takes to receive a return label and get the refund (per the return process, takes ~ 2 business days after it is received by Autoplicity).

I have never used the A to Z Warranty before, but after reading this link ( https://payments.amazon.com/help?nodeId=201212420 ) it looks like one needs to wait 15 days from the purchase date before filing a claim and also allow the vendor to complete the return process giving them 14 days to issue a refund. :dunno:

What a joke, I got my 1lb package today.
Add me to the list of people screwed by Autoplicity through Amazon.
I tried to get Amazon to price match the product that we were supposed to get, but the best that Carly the Amazon supervisor was going to do for me was refund my return shipping..
The guys that got Amazon to do the right thing were lucky! I guess that ship has sailed......
What a let down!

I ordered one and also received the 3" DA pad. Did online chat with amazon and they price matched it for me. Just have to return this part to autoplicity

decided not to be that guy and haggle them over it even though I'm pretty sure this whole ordeal is their **** up

came out to like $83 bucks I think

beats paying 110 for a tool I was gonna buy anyways

Dang. Just had a discussion on chat with Amazon and they were zero help. I made sure I was nice, polite, etc. but they seemed to not be interested in doing anything.

Guess it all is lick of the draw with who you connect / talk with.

Looks like I got a full credit for the "Sander". Money is returned to my bank.

Wonder if I have to even send the pad back...

Don't know how I'd even do it. The order is cancelled. No way to initiate a return.

Yes, I just logged into the account and tried to initiate a return. There is no way to do it because the item isn'e even listed as an order anymore.

An extra pad is the least we should get for the hell we went through. I'm keeping it.

"Sander" arrived yesterday, you guessed it, 1 lb. 3" hook & loop backing pad.

Wanted to put the ball in Amazons court so I didn't bother contacting Autoplicity and called Amazon directly, a nice lady in Mexico sent Autoplicity an email and will give it until Monday (2 business days) for a response. If not settled she will call me back and then issue refund and most likely price match it.

I hope they don't respond.

I also ordered this kit and only received the 3" hook & loop pad. I filed a claim on Amazon this morning, as today was the earliest I could do it, which sent an email to Autoplicity. They responded for me to submit a return request on Amazon and they would get me a return label and will issue a refund since the part is now out of stock. I'll keep everyone posted on the return & refund process.

bummer, that *****. has anyone called the number and spoke with this guy?

i'm guessing they realized that those grinders were going to cost them a fortune if they sold them at that price and backed out?

I contacted amazon as well and they sent a request of a replacement item. Waiting to hear back from them.
They wouldn't say if they would price math it or not until they respond but they noted if I wasn't happy with the sellers response I can file and A to Z claim.

Well, I for one am calling out "Joel" on his bluff, I immediately ordered another DA for full price via the same Autoplicity link on Amazon.

If the correct item shows up this time... I'll ask the corporate attorney what to do next.
