Picked up these Craftsman adjustable wrenches (?).



These appear to be NOS (new old stock): never used. I guess in some cases NOS also means "got for Christmas and never opened".



I figure they will make good chisel and punch holders.

Those are box end adjustable wrenches. I have one and to my surprise very usable. I wouldn't mine finding the other 2 to complete my set.

I like it fine...but...winter is coming on so I don't have anything to spray. I'll give a better review in the spring. One drawback, you flip the switch and the pump runs, you pull the trigger and it sprays, let off the trigger and it stops spraying, but the pump runs all the time unless you turn it off.

The training depends on the dog (personality and temperament) and the type of mill (electric or slat). The intricacies of training a dog to run on a mill are many. Not sure I can explain that here.

You started with the right kind of dog. BC's can be trained to do most anything a dog can do in a very short time. Best dogs I have ever had and by far the smartest. It really is like living with a 4 legged extra person in the house.

What I'm new to are the C3 tools, I have the usual drills/drivers and lights but haven't bought anything else. I was interested in the polisher/buffer but they don't make them anymore. The Nailer looks useful too but kinda pricey and my pneumatic one works just fine and probably lighter too.

Which C3 tools besides the ones I mentioned above would you say you really like and use quite a bit?

Picked up a pretty cool vise.

Looks to be an early 1970's made in USA Craftsman No. 506-5181 with 5" jaw.

Found it in a friend's garage. He knows I'm kind of a Craftsman nut and I played with it long enough that he finally up and gave it to me.

Looks like it has a clean up, lube, and paint job coming....

I have one of these vises in equal need of refurbishment. Did you ever get around to working on yours?

Found a nice little socket to add to the socket collection.

Since Craftsman never offered this size socket in 3/8"-drive, I had to get a (vintage) Snap-on.

5/8" socket in 3/8"-drive 8-point / model F-320.

I never go to pawn shops but every once in a long while you can find something kinda good...found a group of 1/4 drive 8-point sockets. Pretty cool.

That brings the collection of mostly Craftsman mixed with a few of S-K, Snap-on, and Proto Professional sockets up to 663.

Picked up these really sweet SK long reach pliers. The fit and finish of these USA tools has no equal; really nice. The only way these could be better is if they had the red and black handles.

Found an awesome complete 8-piece set of the NLA CRFTSMAN stainless steel screwdrivers. Seriously, I own more drivers than a DIY guy should be legally allowed to own. But I found these brand new in the original pouch and could not resist. The original owner told me that he bought them and stuck them in a drawer and simply forgot about them.

Does anyone know if they still make the red 8 drawer bottom toolbox cabinets anymore ? Feel like all I’m seeing are the 5 drawer ones and want that shallow drawer storage ! Kinda looking at the craftsman edge series personally. Anyone have experience with them?

Nope... never did anything with it. Both the vise and the air compressor have been collecting dust ever since the wife got the cancer and died. But that's nearly 3 years past so I need to get back on it. Some life events can certainly change your outlook on stuff.
