I will admit I have never tried taping OSB - and never will. Need it sealed? Try caulk. Need it to look nice - try some thin molding / trim...
If I have OSB walls, I wouldn't want to seal them. Having the ability to remove the panel with screws to get behind it for wire/pipe access would be worth more to me than seeing seams.
I just use a plastic jointer for most interior jobs.

LOL, I didn't even think of interior. On the off chance that the OP meant exterior...EXTERIOR before Siding - -- yes, it's common practice to seal house better
